I've been using Estee Lauder concealer which hides dark circles very well, but I find it creases & accentuates my wrinkles. Any suggestions?
I saw a few people like Effascernes by Lancome but didn't mention how it worked with wrinkles. |

Being 44 myself, I too have had this problem with concealers. The two I have been most satisfied with is Jane Iredale Circle Delete (about $35US) which you can purchase here at EDS and Revlon Age Defying concealer w/ Botafirm SPF20 (around $9 US)that you can buy at drugstores.
Both are light and creamy, cover well and stay all day but I do prefer the JI. I tend to use JI in the mornings because I like the colors better and keep the Revlon in my purse for touch ups.
Hope this helps!

I also use the JI Circle Delete (in #2) and find this to be really creamy and blendable. It comes in two shades so it gives you more control as well. |

I've used the Lauder and the Effascernes. The Effacernes is nice for me in the summer -- but definitely not good for me during a Canadian winter...I'm 40 and found the Lauder to be "OK" - but I wouldn't recommend the Effascernes...if you find Lauder drying/wrinkle-enhancing - you probably won't like this one. I currently use the Laura Mercier concealer and secret brightener with the Shiseido concealer stick right below the lashline.

I like the Effacernes during the summer but not moisturizing enough during winter. Prefer the Chanel Quick Cover but honestly, I have not found any that do not settle somewhat into lines around my eyes. I think only a primer would stop this and I'm just not up for the extra step....Instead I try to keep the concealer right in the inner area of the circle and avoid getting any out towards the orbital bone...I put YSL Touche Eclat there for a brightening effect. Looks very nice that way. |

I find that putting a gel under the concealer helps at first, but everything gets absorbed & I'm left with the creases.
Don't know JI products... I'll check if I can find them in Canada.

Pudoodles, does the JI circle delete cling to any of your lines around the eyes? |

Hi Cindi! I haven't tried the Circle Delete..but I've heard nice things about it, that's for sure...I'm using Laura Mercier's concealer with secret brightner pen and secret brightener powder...
