Is anyone here familiar with this line? I had dinner with an old college pal last night and was commenting that she was looking really fabulous (especially since the last time I saw her she looked like hell....lol).
She attributed it all to a switch in her skin care routine to IS Clinical. I've seen ads about it in the major fashion rags but she's the only one I know who has ever used it.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with it though... |

I have been reading about this product on line and it sounds like it has some really good ingrediants. They offer quite a few different products. Do you know which products your friend is using? I must say I was tempted to order but decided to wait and see if anyone else had tried them and if they saw good results. |

She's 44 and was a sun goddess well into her 20s so her skin was a wreck. She said her dermotologist has her using Prevage at night, followed by IS Superserum, which has 15% Vitamin C and a bunch of other good stuff. In the morning she uses the IS active serum followed by IS hydracool.
She said her dermatologist told her the results would be rapid and dramatic, and that, indeed, they were.
She's only been using the stuff for 5 weeks and her skin looks better than it did when we were in college. She has oily skin and has always large pores - right now her skin is absolutely poreless!
Overall, I've been pretty happy with my skin regimen, but her skin is looking so fabulous that I'm really thinking of consulting with my dermatologist about making a switch.... |

I was reading the other day that Faith Hill uses this line. It is very expensive, but sounds like it would definately produce results. |

Katee
I am very interested in firming of the skin and was wondering if your friend who is using the IS Clinical saw any firming of her skin? |

Yes, actually she did see significant firming -- it was really why I was so interested. The spa where I get my bikini wax carries the line and I got a whole bunch of samples today. I haven't started using them yet, but sooner or later I will, and when I do, I'll report back.... |

I have used the eyecream and it is nice but not a repurchase for the amt vs price. |

I love the results I've seen just these last 3 days of using it. These were some of the products put in the Oscar gift bags this year. I understand this is the guy that patented some of skinceuticals stuff and he took the patent with him when he formed is clinical by innovative skincare. Don't hold me to it, that is just what ive heard. in am, i use cleansing complex, eye complex, poly-vitamin serum, moisture complex and sunscreen. pm is cleansing, eye, active serum (very active stuff!) and hydra-cool serum.
Check it out! |

Hi Naturallyhappy
Do you mind telling me what your age and skin type are and what kind of problems you're using this on?
You say the eye serum is particularly active - is it good for under eye wrinkles and tightening?
Katee on another thread has just got it and was just raving about it too so I'm curious (but poor). |

Naturallyhappy is quite right. The guy who developed this line was in on the ground floor of the Skinceuticals product line before going off on his own.
I've incorporated the Active Serum, the Hydracool Serum, and the Super Serum into my routine and I really love the stuff.
Molly, the stuff that Naturallyhappy was saying was "very" active wasn't the eye product - she was referring to the Active Serum. I agree - its an extremely active product and the results are super fast, which is always nice.
I had tried using Copper Peptide for awhile because the science behind seemed to be quite sound, and even though I hung in there for awhile, I wasn't seeing results and in fact, my skin was really missing the products I had used before the CP.
I'm usually pretty patient about giving something time to work, but it is nice to see relatively quick results and the IS Clinical line surely does give that. The downside is that it isn't cheap. I will say that even though it's expensive, a little serum goes a long way. I'm going to give it a little while longer, then post a review.... |

Sure. I am 33 with sun damage and a focus on refirming and protecting. I am dryer, so last night i incorportated my skinceuticals b5 gel with the regime. The active serum is what is potent and i am too nervous to use it around eye area (have you katee??) if it is ok to use there, i am sure it would help with the wrinkles as i notice a difference in my forehead where i have deep creases (unfortunately, inherited). Mostly, ive noticed a smoother, more polished look and my breakouts are reducing. (chin area). If you like to feel your products and aren't too hypersensitive, i would really recommend trying some samples at least. It's comparable to Perricone $ and WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better. Some things might be a little more. I think that once i use it for 28 days, im going to back off a little to maybe twice a week along with my babor to maintain. curious to hear your report katee. let us know!!! |

Hi Naturally Happy -
To answer your question as to whether I've used the active serum around my eyes, the answer is yes, but carefully and sparingly.... I really didn't want to get too close to the lashline (and I don't use it along my browbone...just underneath).
I haven't had any problem with it and within a couple of days, two tiny milia that had formed disappeared! Yayyyyy...
It really depends on how sensitive your skin is. If you do decide to try it under your eyes just do it very sparingly at first and slap on the Hydra Cool afterwards... |
