JUVEDERM
RESTYLANE
PERLANE
RADIESSE
TEOSYAL
....

Which one did you like, and which one, in you opinion, gives the most natural result?

Any info is appreciated!

I love Belotero. It can be injected superficially and has no tindall effect. It's very soft and malleable, great for around the eyes.
I like Juvederm 3 for lips and Juvederm 4 for deep cheek injections.
The only other fillers I've tried are from China, but they're not nearly as nice as the two brands I've mentioned in my opinion.
Oh I've used Radiesse in my hands but I found that for the price it just doesn't last anywhere near long enough. About 6 months to a year for me.

I think its more of a matter of injectors skill then which filler is used. However some fillers can better for certain area's.

So very true that the skill of the injector is the primary factor!

Some of us DIY filler, so ease of injection can also be a consideration.

For my $, though, I would use a trusted Chinese HA filler (as I have for a few years) simply because of cost - $60/2ml vs $300+/1ml. I simply cannot afford to use brand and especially cannot afford to use brand and also pay for the injection service.

I am very happy with my results thus far, but this is not for anyone who is not interested in committing a lot of time towards study of product, anatomy and sterile procedure.

I was not enthused about HA filler until I tried it, instead paying for very costly fat transfers which I though "healthier" and more compatible with my own tissue. Once a person sees how effective, simple and immediate HA filler is there is no going back. Also, there is evidence that it stimulates collagen genesis.

Agree with Mishey that Radiesse not long lasting enough to justify its use for hand augmentation (Radiesse is NOT and HA filler). Mine lasted even less time, though it did look good for a few months. Now looking for a reasonably priced HA filler for that area.

What are your thoughts and experiences with Voluma? Its a very thick HA filler, so prob would not lend itself well to DIY injections.

I agree that the skill of an injector is a huge factor. But some fillers are harder to inject than others. For example, Restylane Vital is thicker than Teosyal Redensity 1, and thus is more likely to cause problems. That is why some doctors prefer one type of fillers over another.

I think clients prefer a filler that is long lasting, so the thicker fillers have that advantage. Whether it's injected properly to look natural is where the skill comes in.

These days fillers are often injected using cannulas rather than needles, and larger gauges are commonly used. I see no reason that thicker fillers cannot be used once one has mastered the technique.

I do Radiesse because it's long-lasting. My doctor is very conservative with it, and a good thing with something that can last up to a year.
