Just wondering if anyone has experienced break outs with creme cleanser. I just started using Decleor creme cleanser and toner with the ylang ylang oil, and I started breaking out a few days ago... Eeeek!!! I thought maybe it was the cleanser. Any thoughts? I did go off the pill a couple of months ago, so maybe it's because of that. Can't seem to figure it out yet. ![Brick wall](images/smiles/eusa_wall.gif) |

I think I have similar experience, but I cannot be sure. But I do find that I have breakouts everytime I used lotions the night before. |

It will really depend on the individual I think. I vary between normal and combo skin and I have not had problems with the cream cleansers that I have used. It could be the lotion though, it might be too rich for you. In general, the cream cleanser formulations are made for drier skins. I'm guessing since you're using Ylang Ylang that you don't have dry skin though. Also, since you just started a new skincare regime it could be just that in itself. |

I'm with Mabsy - and going off the bc pill could have something to do with it...I *think* that some bc pills can affect the skin's condition....so that might be it..but maybe not...

The cream cleansers that I have used in the past also broke me out. I really don't now why but I don't feel like my face is cleaned after cream cleansers. May be I still have not found the perfect cream cleanser. |

i have only used foaming cleansers on my face, which are quite good for my skin (oily/combination). however, when i am desperate or between products (it took me a long time to decide what to try next) i use sorbolene cream to clean my face, which i guess is similar to cream cleanser. I have had fantastic results with this- as long as i rinsed properly, it left my skin feeling clean but also hydrated. that said, i still switched over to a product line. maybe it just depends on skin type?

Every cream cleanser seems to break me out and most foaming cleasers are too hash, but the only thing that seems to work for me is Cetaphil mixed with baking soda morning and night. Ever since I have been using this I haven't broken out at all! |

I also really like Cetaphil, the creamy kind, not the oily skin one, that stuff is awful!
I picked up some Cetaphil cleanser when I exfoliated my face raw last month and it cleansed and calmed my skin. I don't know what's in it that works so well but I've been using it ever since. I wear BE powder foundation and non-water proof mascara and it does a good job removing both, doesn't leave me oily or tight feeling. I use it before one of my new fav products, Dr Hauschka Creamy Cleanser but it's not a cleanser nor is it creamy it's mealy textured skin decongestant and it works great! Only been a couple days though so I won't review it yet but the name is decieving because it's not a cream cleanser.
I personally can't use most cream cleansers either, I have oily skin so I don't need the extra emmolients. |
