I wondering if either silk or satin pillowcases work on keeping your hair and face in good condition? Also, does it matter if you use either silk or satin? |

I have both a satin and a silk pillowcase.
I think they definitely help with hair. I put my hair up into a scrunchie - high ponytail (think of a pineapple look).
Unfortunately, as much as I try to sleep on my back; I just don't. I like to lie on my side. I try NOT to smash my face into the pillow; but I will wake up with "pillow marks".
It certainly is worth trying! |

I think sleeping on the back is better for your face than any pillowcase, copper infused, silk or otherwise. And since the hair slips over the silk maybe its better for hair. But if you "cant" sleep on your back, then its worth a try. |

I have had several and other than the fact that they wear out faster, I have seen no difference.
Fawnie is right about sleeping on the back, it is just SO hard to do for me! I am a hardcore side sleeper for sure. |

I understand about laying on my back to protect my face and prevent lines. So, it doesn't make a difference on your hair? I read that cotton pillowcases cause breakage and wreak havoc on your hair. Some say their hair looked like it did the day before when using either of these pillowcases. |

I saw no difference on the hair either but I put mine up in a loose bun at night anyway. |

I have a satin and a silk pillow case and the satin works great in keeping my hair calm, no waking up with bed head hair. Can't say it helps with my face though. The silk pillow case was a waste of money. |
