(hello all!)
I was wondering..has anyone found a (nice, black) mascara thats actually good for eyelashes? like..with conditioning ingredients? or...anything that actually promotes growth? or anything??

hi there!
I use to review 13 mascaras at a time! LOL (for Cosmetic Connection) and Darphin has a good/healthy mascara and it got a Health award one year. I don't think it *promotes* growth but healthy for lashes. |

lamas lash masque as a nighttime treatment can help darken and thicken lashes. Quite a few ladies were raving about it a while back. |

Talika, Shu Uemura, Avon, and Mavala all make products that are supposed to make lashes thicker, denser, longer. Some have good success with them and some don't. I didn't see much results with the Mavala or the Talika and I haven't used the Shu regularly enough to comment. I haven't tried the Avon as it's not available in Aus. Lamas Lash Masque is pretty good though, I got the impression that my lashes were healthier while I was using this and they did definitely get darker. You don't get the same effect with this as with a normal mascara though. |
