Tried this for the first time tonight and it is an incredible exfoliating treatment! The result was glowing and very soft skin...instant gratification! I've never had a professional done so I can't compare. I have used Philosophy Resurface and Epidermx though, and I like this one much, much better.
The texture of the Dr. Brandt is really fine and smells something like lemons. I followed the instructions exactly: Dampen skin with warm water. Avoiding the eye area - slowly and gently massage approximately a nickel-sized amount of the cream into skin in a circular motion for 1-3 minutes, then rinse well. For best results, use 2-3 times per week, allowing a minimum of two days in between treatments. It is very expensive at $75 US, but at this usage rate I think the jar will last awhile.
Now I'm just crossing my fingers hoping I don't wake up to anything bad tomorrow! |

Oooo! I was eyeing this for a while after reading some great reviews (on MUA I think). Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to add this to the "samples to get" list |

Well I hate to mention this because we are on the EDS forums, but sephora has a full 1 oz of the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion in the Jar as a free gift with any purchase when you use SKIN14 as the promotion code. The full size version that is $75 is only 2 oz so this is a real deal! I see me placing several small orders just so I can get more.
BTW - Nothing funky on my face this morning! |

The US Sephora site seems to be out of the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion samples. I was hoping for another jar. |

I really wanted to try this and with my last EDS order I notice that it has been discontinued. Does anyone know where else this can be purchased. I've checked ebay and most sellers don't ship to AUS.
Any info would be appreciated. I'll prob end up getting the epidermx but I really wanted to try the Dr Brandts one. TIA |

I use DermaE microdermabrasion scrub, very similiar to Dr.Brandt's, but it's only $20 a jar, sold at health stores. I never used Dr.Brandt's, but I did go to Sephora and tested it there.
Maybe I should ask for a sample next time. But I am pretty confident they're very similiar, except the $55 diff in price.

Generally, these are only available on the website. However, given that the above was posted mid-2004, I think the code would no longer be valid anyway. I think they went pretty quickly after people got hold of the code. |

This is an expensive stuff, i use only a little bit each time, the big jar will probably last 2 yrs. I apply a thin layer over the face, then take a shower. When I finish, I wet my hands then massage my face. |

The only code I know of and that worked for me (as of last week) at Sephora is WESTERN2 which gives you one choice of a few deluxe samples. The samples to choose from are:
GoSmile Regimen Trial
Murad City Skin Detox
Stila Lip Glaze
Emanuel Ungaro Apparition
I chose the Murad but haven't tried it yet.

I get Sephora catalogs in the mail which have the codes in them. I think I get them every quarter. You can sign up for these on the website.
Also I always check currentcodes.com.
