Does anyone know any good & reliable sites where I can buy vitamins and supplements at affordable prices?

iherb waiting times has become ridiculous. I had to wait for 1.5 months to get my order to Canada.

Also, it seems that iherb made a deal with DHL, if you choose DHL Express International shipping option, you will have to pay $14 to DHL for paying your taxes for you. Something that iherb never mentions on their website.

Their customer service went downhill as well. One of their representatives (Mr. Mr. Luis Lindain) said that I should go & study Canada Customs when I complained about the hidden fees Canadians have to pay to DHL for handling.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I am really careful about buying from US sites. I seem to be OK if it is shipped with USPS.

I do buy from well.ca. Free shipping within Canada on orders $25.00 or more. I don't know what you are looking for; hopefully they have it. Excellent customer service and great for hard to find items.

If anyone else has suggestions for health products and reasonable shipping for Canada; I would be interested.

I've been ordering from Iherb for years now, with
no problems. Make sure when you check out that you choose International shipping for $4.00 rather than DHL. No taxes to pay, and it usually takes 2 weeks for my order to arrive.

I find iherb parcels arrive to me the quickest of any web company I use overall. The last time it only took 5 days to get to Australia. And that's with the standard international shipping of $8.00. There must've been a problem somewhere with your order.

How about Vitacost. I tend to go back and forth between Vitacost and iherb and like them both. I don't know the shipping policies *live in the U.S.* but you may want to check it out and see if it makes sense for you to switch. Good luck.

It took more than 6 weeks for the last three shipments to come to Canada. Also, they are always out of HealthForce Nutritionals products. So I have to wait first for several weeks until they notify me they have them in stock and then wait for the shipment for 6-7 weeks. I am guessing iherb has become too popular around the world to be able to satisfy everyone.

And, as someone mentioned, Canadians should never choose the Dhl extress option in order to avoid paying $14 to DHl for customs clearance.

I've been buying from iherb for years. The 14$ that DHL charges is 10$ for brokerage fees and 4$ if you don't have an account with them. The DHL shipping itself is between 8 and 9$. MUCH cheaper than UPS.
Also if you want to go the USPS-Canada Post route, you will still have to pay a brokerage fee (it was 8.50$ several years ago) plus taxes if your shipment value is 30$ (sometimes lower, sometimes higher.)
And that route takes between 2-3 weeks for me.
With DHL, I get my order in 1 or 2 business days.
What I like about iherb, apart from how fragile containers are protected is that the expiry date is clearly indicated for each item on the site. And all ingredients listed on the label are shown.
And there is a ton of reviews, postitive as well as negative. Although some people will give a bad rating to a product because shipping was long or even because they haven't even tried it yet!
I have even read some one-star ratings which raved about the product. Some people don't have a clue.
Of course, if I lived in the States, I would have many other choices other than iherb. But I love it in Canada and would never consider moving to the US.

Sorry iHerb isn't working for you. They are one of my favorite companies. I always order from them unless they don't have the product I am looking for. They get 10 plus stars from me.

I have ordered from Puritans Pride and Dragonherbs for over 15 plus years. Always reliable.
Dragonherbs has some interesting products and I love their total alchemy powder supplement. I have recommended it to my hubby and sons ear nose and throat doctor and he swears by it! He bought it to stock his office for all his employees! He says it keeps their immune and energy systems up and running smoothly. I agree!

I buy from National Nutrition too. The problem in Canada is that supplements and packaged food products (like coconut, nuts, etc) must be labeled in French and English or simply in French.
In Quebec, I can buy products with not one whit of English on the label, but French must be on the label.
I'm French, and I think it's stupid. Besides, the French from France are not renowned for their supplements. So these French labels are of absolutely no interest to me.

That limits me if I want to purchase here to Canadian labels or American labels like NOW brand that has a bilingual label. The American products are usually twice the US price.
There are of course here hemp seeds and oil that are not grown in the States (maybe this has changed in the last year?)
I buy the bulk of my supplements from iherb simply because of the cost.
But if I couldn't buy from iherb, then National Nutrition would definitely be my choice.

I have tried well.ca! Shipping took 2 days! They also included a LOT of samples. Too bad, they do not sell high quality supplements.

While I really like well.ca; I agree the supplement offers are limited.

They are a very young company and seem to be adding new lines often.

I have a really good health food store in my area. I will ask them to special order items ie; neem oil, etc. They are happy to do it. Most health food stores will do these; even the chains.

Well.ca does carry NOW brand. I am not sure what you are looking for but they might have it.

I haven't bought a lot from them simply because I don't like racking up my credit card too much, I tend to only order online if I can't purchase locally what I'm looking for.

I recently ordered Cardioflex from National nutrition which was $15 a tub cheaper than the local health food store. My supplement intake has been very basic lately but if I want to try something that is pricier I usually check out national nutrition as their prices are usually much better.

I have bought from iherb for years. They have cheaper shipping option at $4 for international shipping. It takes about two weeks to get to Asia
and $8 by DHL express. I think it works fine to me.
