What can be done for tiny bumps all over the face that have been there for years that are trapped sweat and dirt? |

What kinds of things have you been doing throughout the years to treat them? You could use a bha or aha product to help exfoliate the skin? Maybe manually try getting rid of them as well with a skin brush. I like natural treatments as well and organic apple cider vinegar does wonders for me. Maybe it could help you too. |

I tried it all.Manually gave wrinkles so I stopped. BHA and AHA gave me wrinkles too but also only temporarily helped the bumps go down but they are always there and crop up after a few hours, and it also made some new pimples form. I tried the organic apple cider but it seemed too drying for my skin, I thought it gave me wrinkles as well. I only tried two nights though and freaked and stopped. What do you do after you apply it? Do you wash it off after a few minutes and then apply moisturizer? |

Manually also didn't help the bumps by the way. These bumps are just so tough. They have literally take over my entire face, there isn't really a spot where I don't have them |

I'm pretty sure almost everyone has these to some degree. I sometimes get them on my forehead. I think mine are caused by dry skin that just sits there. Once I exfoliate, they go. Maybe you can try something higher strength, perhaps a retinoid. Have you seen a derm for these? I'd start there. They're quite normal, though. I think they're just deeply clogged pores. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

Thank you for writing to me, I appreciate your response. I have seen girls with the bumps but they all have them to a very smaller degree and doesn't cover most areas of their face. A lot of girls I see don't have many, if any. BUT, the few girls I have seen with a sufficient amount of these bumps are heavy make-up wearers. I actually found these pictures from googling: bumps from makeup. I used to be that way myself and I still do wear makeup on a daily basis but not as heavy. It's pretty bad if a photographer I'm shooting with comments on it. It does not look good in pictures, it looks horrible and makeup just sits on top of these bumps making them look worse. I personally don't think it's normal but I have no idea why it happens and what to do about it. They have been on my face for years now. |

Dermatologists shock me at how stupid they are. None of the dermatologists know what it is! An aesthetician was very positive it's from dry skin but um, I have mousturized my skin ever since she said that and tried many moisturizers for 3 years! If it was dry skin, why hasn't exfoliating and moisturizing made then go away for good! |
