I have recently just started using retin a again after a break of a couple of years due to having a baby, I used to get it from all day chemist but came across some on ebay and thought I'd give it a try just to save on shipping costs I'm not entirely convinced by it though only used it a couple of times but my face instantly turns red???its 0.5 which I've used before manufacutured by OLIC in Thailand for Janssen cilang has anyone used this?...I was out shopping the other day and called into a skin care shop just to see how much they were charging for obagi vit c serum I usually buy from here and was amazed they were asking £98 its much cheaper at EDS lol, but I noticed they were also selling obagi retin A I wasn't aware you were able to sell it like that in the U.K they were asking £75 a tube. |

I have used retin A in the past, I've only used this particular one from ebay 3 times once per week because I was a bit dubious after leaving so long....I meant literally as soon as I applied it my skin turned red...so was unsure if its the cream I've bought maybe fake. I've used again doing it slowly and can see it does seem to be working slight flaking in some areas just the instant redness on application made me a bit |

Sounds fake to me.....I'd throw it out. I get mine from my dermatologist. Wouldn't trust ebay for stuff like that. I'd be afraid it would ruin my face. |

I agree with Ollie, I think if its not from a dermatologist its fake. I only pay $20 for my tubes. It also depends on the pharmacy you use and I think you should be under care of a dermatologist. |

I only paid $50 for my tube and I still have it and use it daily. If you have insurance, they may cover it if you have acne also. Plus derms give lots of samples of retin a. Mine gave me about 10 little tubes that lasted me a while. Remember you're not supposed to use a lot. A little goes a long way! |

I wouldn't buy prescription products from amazon. |

I buy mine from Tara Skincare. They are very reputable IMHO. I learned about them from another board. |
