| Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I am interested in hearing if anyone has had luck with hyperpigmentation lightening around the eye ara. I have it BAD! I have always had a dark area around my eyes, not just circles but on the eyelid too. I use a good cosmetic line (Jane Iredale) but I am interested in lightening the skin, not just covering it up. I have heard about Kojic acid; does this work with hyperpigmentation?? Any products that have worked well for you? I use skinceuticals moisturizer and night cream. Any advice is appreciated... |

 Hi olivegirl, I have a small pigmentation problem on the tops of my cheeks but not like you describe, though its the opposite as in dark pigmentation its just as obvious as yours and I too cant cover it but not hopeful of finding a product to cure it. Im sure the girls on here will be able to give you lots of advise and some useful tips and links. Good luck. |

Hi Olivegirl - I'd pay a visit to the derm to find out whether or not you need treatment more intensive than that which is currently available over the counter - just so that you don't end up wasting your money.
