Has anyone caught a glimpse of themselves in the mirror with their reading glasses or magnifying glasses on? Well, I did and was horrified at how many wrinkles I have and how old I look!!! Is this what people really see when they look at me? Can they see all these wrinkles I see with my glasses on? However, when I take them off I don't see quite as much and they don't seem nearly as deep. If this is how people really see me then I need a facelift!! |

People see you as the beautiful person you are. You yourself are usually the only one that focuses on the flaws and imperfections. When you look in the mirror try to pick out the things you love about yourself, rather than things you wish you could change. I myself am guilty of this as well, most people are too critical on themselves. Everyone ages, some gracefully, some not so much. But sometimes try to remember that your wrinkles add character, and show the years you've lived, the experiences you've had, the smiles and frowns you've shown. Be proud of who you are and don't let aging make you feel like you aren't beautiful. Youth is fleeting, but beauty can be had at any age. |

NO ONE is looking at you with magnifying glasses!
I really think what EC413 said is quite true too. And most people really are more concerned with themselves and how they look. |

I've had this reaction when I was near or on the age of 30, then 40.
It certainly is a change in our skin and a reminder to make sure we continue to take care of ourselves. I doubt people see you this way, we are our own critique. I take a look at the products I'm using and try to see what I can change. I certainly went through a touch phase when I hit 40 and I am so glad that another member here was very supportive and helped me find things that I should try and within a budget. I've changed brands, but my friend helped me a lot. |

Nobody judge you because of the wrinkles you have cause they really don't care of that and because everybody will get wrinkles one day and a lot of people already have some or more than you. |
