I have noticed almost all facial exercise programs have their own thread so thought I would start one for FlexEffect. This will allow me to rave about FlexEffect and no one can say I’m trying to steal the glory from another program. I feel I owe so much to Deb (besides what I paid for it) Very Happy and I actually got mine ½ off! I feel good knowing I have sold a few programs for Deb through my results alone.

Here it is 2011 and facial training is still not that well known compared to everything else out there that doesn’t work! I guess it really takes people like us who are doing the training to get it out there where it belongs.

So far my results continue to surface some are very obvious (NL's) and some so faint it takes studying my face to notice. What to tell you guys who are training with FlexEffect if you haven’t been in workshop for a while get in there and check out the routine Deb posted a few days ago called Three In One (3N1) It’s insane! You’ll love it.

Before I go I also want to say I know a lot of you own several programs and love them all and will continue to buy as many more as you can. Ok I got it. But the fact that I can spend a measly 12 minutes a day training my butt off and have tons of exercises to switch out as many different 12 minute routines as I like. Personally I would rather spend my money on the rest of my body. There’s no end to what I could do there. I could easily go broke Rolling Eyes

Actually, there is. People tended to go here to talk about FlexEffect: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=36819

I don't feel there's any need for a new thread..though I wish the mods would move the pages and pages of bickering about FE on the Ageless If You Dare one!

Did you get rid of your NLs? How long have you been doing it? What is the 3NL? I'd get flexeffect though I can't spend $150 right now. I got the The Facial Workout DVD cause it was only $18 though it doesn't target NLs. I'm so desperate and motivated to get rid of my NLs though in the next few months I'll do what it takes, almost obsessed with it!

The bods at FlexEffect have their ownskincare line out now. Guess it was only a matter of time, but has anyone tried it. A cream and serum is available, and so far its only Deb and Claudia who have used it and written glowing reviews of course. Suppose it was only a matter of time as Maggio, Cleaves etc all have their own. Wonder if its going to have an effect or not?

Hi ljk!

Huh? I'm sorry I didn't see your post when I went in last time. Thanks for the link Wink Yep, it's better.

I too think the fighting is ridiculous. If everyone would just sing the praise of what they like and shut the hell up with all the stuff that doesn't make a rat's bit of difference about who likes one program over another.

I've used Flex Effect and I find many exercises valuable. It was my first and only program for at least a year I'd say. I know it well. I have great respect for Deb Crowley and Claudia.

Here's what I know now after three plus years of faithful facial exercising:
There are praises to sing about other programs also - Each brings different things to the table and create different looks - it's true!

Carole Maggio's lip exercises are excellent. Facial Yoga gives me a quicker and higher lift than anything I've done. There are some all-in-one exercises (AgelessSexySeventy for example) that are great quick lifts.

Experience has shown me the value of other programs.
There's more than one way to get to a great end result.

Likewise I think that each and every program out there can deliver different benefits. I love Tom Haggerty's scalp exercise. I can't move my ears fully just yet, but I've started to feel a slight tweaking of them so I'm even more determined now. I can't get my head round Facercise, but I am loving Yoga Facial Toning by Rose Han Tree.

Who's Facial Yoga program do you follow? I am a huge (new) believer in yoga, I would really love to try that. If you would be so kind.

That's right TM - I am using Rose Tran's.

rmc: I have both Rose's and his but for some reason I prefer her version. It was the first time I could feel a burn afterward from facial exercise. I feel like my face has really been worked out.
Please don't' misunderstand, my belief with facial exercise is that if you follow (whichever) faithfully and correctly - 5 days a week I'll say, stay focused on using the muscles you'll get results. It's really all about motivation and perseverance.
This is especially true in the beginning - first year.

I also believe some programs work better for some of us and others work better for others. The only way to really know is to dive in a try them out. One is not necessarily better than the other.

I was looking into purchasing Rose Tran's exercise program. Does anyone that has her program think it is worth the extra $20.00 in order to have the 3 minute face lift DVD included in the package. Thanks.

I purchased Rose's package before it included the 3 minute face lift, which I'm sure is just a shorter routine she's developed and it was well worth the money. The book is far more detailed and colourful and I also really like the dvd with different people demoing the exercises. The cd is a bit of a naff item in my mind because it does the count for only one rep and then tells you to repeat 3x etc, and I'd much rather have preferred it to do the full 3 rep count but ca la vie.

I also own Happy Face Yoga, and think Rose's program is far superior (in fact Gary is a testimonial on Rose's and trained under her).

Hi

I looked up Rose Tran's Face Yoga but I'm wondering if they are doing resistance training or isotonic exercises. From what I've seen on their video it's more like isotonic. Nothing wrong with that just wondering.

Hi Tony - I'd say it's a bit of both. More emphasis on isotonic but still some building/resistance. The end result is I sure Feel It! And see it.
Packratmack - I have the 3 minute and use it a few times a week. I did the whole bloody deal today but I only do that once in a while.

I think the 3 minute is worth it - You'll use it and you'll know it's working. For me - it's more like 9-10 minutes but I count slow. Just so you know.

Hi, I've had great results for cheeks with isotonic exercises (facersize), and some good results with resistance ones (Loli's "Three in one" from Flexeffect)... both have been good, meaning to say that certain exercises work better on the body and face than others according to personal taste and body/face response (a bodybuilder is happy with his looks and a yoga trainer is happy with his looks, they are different, yes,... one "better" than the other,... no)
Tony1, just wondering, I can't find the three in one exercise you mention Deb. posted,...I've searched the forum post by post to no avail, in fact when I try a search through the main search button I'm told that I have not enough words or length of words to do a search,... in any case I I do know Loli's three in one... are you talking about the same one? It would be strange to have in the same programme two exercises with the same name, so I'm assuming you are referring to Loli's one.
Must mention I have had great results mixing and matching different programmes and massages, this forum is great for getting to know all the different options!

I was also wondering if it could be the same exercise Loli put together. That was a long while back though and I got the impression this exercise was new; having come out since the third edition.

Loli's exercise is not the same as Deb's new 3N1 routine. Loli created that one a while ago for her cheek bootcamp. It hits three muscles at one time. I just realized the names were similar. Deb's new routine can be found on the Flex Effect forum for the third edition. It's in the resistance training sub forum. The thread is titled FlexEffect - Three In One Training.

I'd say its definitely both - there are a lot of resistance exercises too. Some look borrowed from facercise, but ca la vie - that seems to be the case with them all.

As said above its not Loli's 3n1 method but a different one in the 3rd Workshop forum. If you search under Deb's names, it comes up.

Think it got removed, but I've asked Loli to post it in her Corner in the forum several times but she's busy and doesn't always respond to PMs. It was a creation of both hers and Loulou is my understanding originally on the general forum (but I've noticed both claim they created it later on - go figure!)

Thanks packratmack.

What's this about cheek bootcamp?I've not seen it in wrokshop. I'll have to look it up. Must have been sometime back? That's funny, one routine trains 3 muscles at one time and the other uses 3 different techniques at one time. Is loli's routine under cheek bootcamp or 3N1?

Have you tried Deb's 3N1 yourself?

I don't understand why they would remove the cheek bootcamp exercises. For the record LouLou told me that she and Loli BOTH put it together.

Anyway - I signed back up on the FE forum so I can check 3n1 out. Curious what muscles it takes in.

I think because originally the bootcamp was on the general forum and so you didn't even need to own the kit to do it and they kept getting question after question about it from people who had just joined and did that alone and werent having results.

Yep I remember Loulou saying the same to me, and Loli too - and later on someone else suggested that they were both using stuff from a book just only on the cheeks - so who knows why they moved it. Its still not in the workshop forum.

I think with the 3n1 its a development thats happened since the 3rd edition by Deb so thats why she put it in the workshop which makes sense to me, and I noticed recently they said they're not answering technique questions on the general forum any longer. Something about people having pirated copies or so?

Suppose they got to protect themselves which is fair enough.
