Hey there fellow skin care enthusiasts!
There are many reasons why I DIY. I know you know what I am talking about: avoid synthetic chemicals, use premium ingredients, save loads of money but another big reason that I DIY is to use the Earth's resources carefully. The beauty industry generates tons of waste and I don't like throwing perfectly good containers away on a monthly basis.
I recently wrote about this issue in an article titled:
The Constant Waste Stream and Plastic Packaging Chain of the Beauty Supply Industry - Waste Management Begins with You

Take good care of yourselves (and the Earth)! xo HGG |

You're really great, but I can't make it by myself. I still have to buy cosmetics. |

The next best thing to making your own skin care is to purchase locally made and/or hand-crafted or sustainably made products available from the health food store. |
