Hi everyone...
This is my very first post! Yay! You all sound like really great skincare experts so hoping you all can help.
I have acne-prone skin, extremely large pores, and some scarring. Looking for new cleanser and moisturizer recs.
Currently using MD Forte Cleanser I a few times a week but find it makes me really dry if I use it every day. Lately my skin has been extremely dry and flaky. I also use MD Forte Lotion I a few times a week too and also grapeseed oil at night to moisturize.
Any suggestions for cleanser and mositurizer that won't irritate my skin but provide moisture? Also wouldn't mind a treatment product to address the red marks, scarring, and large pores.
Thank you so much! |

Welcome to the forum!
Having read your post I would really suggest the Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream. You may on the beginning experience a bit of a breakout (maybe) but this stuff has been great for me. It cleans out my pores like nothing else (thereby making them smaller) and also leaves my face feeling very comfortable. If you wanted to, you could use the grapeseed oil afterwards but make sure you apply it to damp skin (not dry skin). |

All that anyone needs to use is a gentle, NON DRYING cleanser. I'm sure the MD Forte is too drying for you too. Maybe back off on that to every other day or twice a week. You'd have to experiment to see what how your skin reacts.
And on any blemishes a very thin layer of beta hydroxy acid with a blemish fighter over that will clear you up. |

Um, Mabsy, did you mean "DAMP" skin (instead of "damn skin")?
