Hello Im on a mission to create simple but powerful antioxidant with matcha green tea base.
I just spent 170$ on 2 creams and a mask in TIA shop, couldn't buy vit C serum and antioxidant serum as would run into 300$ perhaps, and thought the rest I must make myself
I should mention I have not made anything yet apart from body whipped cream.
So far I learned how to make basic hyaluronic serum, but I am not sure how to add rest of ingredients, in what proportion. Also should I add extracts before hyaluronic acid or after.
I have read, and would like to check if it correct, that if I will use honey, not honey extract, I will need to mix it in at the end.
PH is another question,as it has to be below 6 for my preservative, but I guess if I get PH indicator I could manage to check if its ok
So these are chosen ingredients:
-100ml water (I would like to use brewed matcha green tea)
-1g of sodium hyaluronate( which I think gives 0.2 hyaluronic acid (1%)
- Sea Kelp bioferment (5% ?)
- Lemon Peel bioferment (lightening and antioxidant, animicrobal) (5% ?)
- Honey (extract?)
- Grape seed extract
- Açai extract
- Cocoa extract
- Ginko baloba leaf extract
- Ginseng Extract
--At what percentage extracts normally used in serums?--
As a preservative I want to use Leucidal Liquid SF.
Lemon peel bioferment and Ginko Baloba have anti-fungal properties.
I can also make small batches, monthly for example
If anyone could help with this formulation, correct, specify proportions- it would be great. And if anyone would like to use this recipe and write experience with it - even better
Thank you in advance
