Hi and good day - I have been looking into purchasing a cold laser for home use.
I fell on some ice, mildly injured my back and my chiropractor indicated it would help to do a cold laser treatment regularly at home coupled with visits to the chiro clinic. The clinic/pro cold lasers are very expensive to purchase (several thousand dollars) and I found one online that is sold for vet/animal use that some people are using on themselves at home (a $565 pricetag).
Anyone purchase a cold laser for home use and if so, did you find it was worthwhile? Anyone specifically try the Vetrolaser version (808nm, 300mw) or know someone with a used version for sale?

I rent an Erchonia laser that I use on my dog, and I find this much more effective than the ones I use at the vet's office. I rent from a sports medicine practitioner). I am very skeptical of the inexpensive cold lasers. If you want to call Erchonia and get more info on cold lasers so you can compare to the ones you have seen advertized, many of the reps will send you literature and are pretty well informed. Erchonia is pretty much the gold std for cold lasers. The one I rent is sold for around $15K and the handheld lighter version is just under $10K. I again would be very skeptical of the less costly ones. I have found the one I rent to be invaluable for orthopedic issues, animal and human alike. |
