There are so many on the market. If you use or know of a good one please let me know. I have dry skin and need a good sunscreen.
Summers coming. |

Hi!
I like Fallene Total Block Clear SPF 65!!! It goes on really nicely and is a good base for make up, is moisturising without being oily or shiny - in fact its my perfect SPF. You can get it from Dermadoctor.com. They also do a tinted version - great if you dont' want to wear foundation. |

Skinceuticals Ultimate UV Defense is good. So is Shiseido Anessa. I also like the options of tinted moisturisers with SPF or just moisturisers with SPF. The Murad Pomegranate one is good as is their vit C one (both SPF15 I think). Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture is also good. Kosmea Moisturising Lotion SPF30+ is one of my fave moisturiser+SPF combo products. |

I use Fallene Total Block Clear SPF 65 as well. I used to use it all over my face, but found that it was a little hard to blend in. So now I just use it around my eyes, and I use Abella Colorshade every where else. It is a broad spectrum SPF 30...and available in 4 shades. It makes a great AM moisturuzer and contains green tea and vitamin E. It is the best sunscreen I have ever found. You can get it on skinstore.com |

I agree with Mabsy, Skinceuticals Ultimate UV defense Rocks, Great for sensitive skin, and they have a chemical free version as well, has Zinc oxide, which blocks out all damaging rays. Skinceuticals does have SPF 20,30, and 45, but i've heard that after 30,it's useless.. |

Lucia, thanks for the suggestion. I always see this particular brand at dermatologist offices. I have avoided picking it up, because I'm concerned over whether it has a whitish cast. This might not be the case, since the Zinc & Titanium ingredients are the very last in the Active Ingredients list - which admittedly bothers me a bit.
Greasiness is ALWAYS a big concern since my skin is oily, but you say this isn't an issue with this sunscreen. Thanks in advance for your tips. |

The Fallene Total Block isn't greasy and I found it blends better if you put it in the palm of your hand then warm it between your palms, (till it covers your palms) - then apply it - you have to be quick as it sinks in I guess thats the pay off for not having it too oily? If you blob it straight onto your face it can be difficult to blend. It doesn't have a white cast, in fact even the 'clear' has a slight skin coloured tint to it. It then seems to dry to a reasonably matte finish and I've been ok with it even on a hot day on my T Zone which is prone to shine and oil it's not slid off!!
Hope that makes some kind of sense - trying to type while Boss isn't looking!! |
