I finally figured out the culprit to my watery eyes when using Urban Decay's amazingly popular Primer Potion... it contains bismouth oxychloride and I can not have that in products as I'm allergic (could never use Bare Minerals/Essentials, etc...bumps and itchies...) so here I was using a product so close to my eyes and they would just water all day! I finally looked up the ingredients...(duh?)I kept thinking it was my mascara or liner... but by process of elimination - this has to be it.
Does anyone have any good alternatives? I don't use it all the time...only for special occasions or performances where my makeup needs to stay put...
I can't believe I didn't look up the ingredients sooner...I'm a dummy! |

Are you looking for a face primer or an eyelid primer? I have a couple of eye lid primers that I like. |

I like the Smashbox one. It has a wand applicator. Bonus: if you apply to a spot and then apply mineral makeup as a concealer over it; it lasts and lasts. The two products have great coverage.
Less money is the Milani one (under $10.00 cdn) is a tube and thick; almost concealer like.
I also tried the ones from ELF. Hard to find. the regular was a $1.00 and the mineral one was $3.00. |
