Hello
Does anyone have any advice on getting rid or reducing the deep lines that are developing on my chest area? Mostly from sun damage...
Thanks! |

I use the same vit C products on my chest and hands that I use on my face. Also 10% glycolic acid. |

Thanks! Have you seen results? Would you recommend any particular product for the vit C and glycolic? |

Good point you should also use a good strength sunscreen.
I use all of the products that were too strong on my face on my chest and hands. I have a large # of vit C products the ones I use most are the Cellex C and skinceuticals (20% serum) and more recently both water and oil based home formulas from "The Personal Forumlator".
I think all Vit C products with 10-20% work which you use depends on your skin type and how you like the 'feel' of the product. I have skin that tans easily and is not very sensitive.
I've used several commercial 10% glycolic peels. The Avon 10% is a good one. You don't need an expensive product here because glycolic acid is the active ingredient and the pther things really don't matter so much. It is s good idea to neutralize afterwards (use something slightly basic) and then put something soothing on aferwards(First wipe with green tea then something like like aloe, vit E oil or an after sun moisturizer). I now make my own glycolic acid product but this is tricky and I don't recommend doing so if your skin is sensitive. Also do not peel with a strong product more than once every 10 days to 3 weeks and it does make your skin more sun sensitive.
I have seen a major improvement in my upper chest using this routine.
Also do your hands when you do your chest. I know several people who have had face lifts etc. whose faces look good but hands look awful. |
