No plastic surgery that he is aware of that is. Surgery or not, she looks amazing for her age. Would have liked to have known some more specifics about her lifestyle such as sunscreen, sun avoidance, specific diet, supplements.

I purchased some of her stuff, a set for the hair and a set for the skin, and both came with a little booklet full of info. Her approach to me seems quite good but full on. She does advocate taking supplements, good lifestyle and using good quality products. I didn't return to using the products simply because for me they were costly to get shipped to the UK and I didn't see anything amazing about them to be honest, but I did notice in her skincare booklet she does advocate facial exercises. I think she looks better than Eva Fraser personally and would love to see a dvd of her doing those exercises (much like Tonya of Rawesome Flex). I can't help but wonder why these people advocate things yet seem so unwilling to demonstrate them? Just a bit strange but just my two cence.

If you buy her book she tells you her entire routine. Let's not forget that her face and body have been her business and most people aren't willing to invest so much time and energy. Plus she's been doing all this stuff for decades so has a head start on the rest of us! Still there are lots of things you can learn.

Her facial exercises are simple and she has a little pamphlet with illustrations. She isn't the most tech savvy person so no video but who knows? She might decide to do that in the future. I doubt I will ever do facial exercises, though.

I buy her aloe vera capsules because I can't find them at that price anywhere else and they are good for my sensitive stomach. Bought the eyeshadow a few years ago and still have it.

Just remembered she did say she had her eyes done at 38, I think, to extend her modeling career. In those days there were few models over 30. Facelifts leave scars so if several doctors have searched for scars and not found them, you can believe them.

I like what her doctor said about her attitude. So many people are the opposite and it's reflected in their appearance in different ways.

I hope she doesn't outlive her doctor!

I own quite a few of her books, and her kits and can tell you that each book has a different routine. I have one for example where she advocates using babyoil to clean her skin. Another one where she says she uses just water and then always a toner etc. So I think depending which book or kit you read you will find a different routine. Not a biggie but worth pointing out.

As to her exercises – I didn’t find them simple but I am a visual person. In this day and age you don’t need to be that technically savy and besides, she’s done videos so I’m not so sure I understand the point you are making here.

Sounds like she is open to new things that might work better -- as are most of us on this forum or we wouldn't be here.

I only have her latest book which I want to reread. Don't see the point of buying older books if she has found better ways and products. Let her be the guinea pig! That's one reason I like HotnFlashy's youtube videos -- let her spend money and time experimenting then just tell me which one works better!

Absolutely and her stuff is working as you can see.

The books I have which I purchased at different times were all her “latest” books at those points. I have always liked her and been impressed by her approach. The latest book you have is current for now but next year it may not be.

Softskin, I believe you were the one who recommended her latest book awhile back and I went and purchased it. I love it! I've known about her for a long time but didn't realize she wrote a new book. I think she is amazing.

She admitted to having her eyes done several years ago. She was on some show about retired people on PBS, I think it's called "Second Life" or something like that and on that show there was a link to something else she was on and that's where she admitted to having some surgery.

Her posture is what makes her so look young, among other things. An older woman can have zero wrinkles but if she slumps over she will still look old the neck muscles will sag and the alignment will be off.

The ears should be in line with the shoulders and the shoulders should be in line with the hips.

Spoken like the ballerina you are! I often note how poor even young peoples' posture is. They may be able to get away with it, but as one ages, good posture will give the overall impression of youth and energy, as well as making one look ten pounds lighter.

Ballet training lasts a lifetime, at 62 people still comment on my bearing, and my ballroom buddies ask me about attaining balance for good extensions. I say just what you do: ears over shoulders, over hips, over ball of foot. And learn to lift the ribcage without raising the shoulders.

Cheapest and least expensive way to look better.

Yes! I agree, fellow dancer. I met a lady who had had a facelift, lasered skin, the whole works but she looked old because of her posture. Good posture also burns more calories than slouching, opens up the lungs and allows more oxygen to circulate in the body. It's the best.

People who are fit generally have good posture to match. So it's about movement as well. I've walked behind men and women and tried to guess their age by their walk and body shape. People of any age who are fat "walk older." Women on their way to yoga class can look facially older than their body which looks and moves like a much younger person's. People on the way to the tennis courts walk energetically but their face often displays sun damage.

There is a saleswoman at my local high end beauty supply shop who is stooped over but has a waxy smooth face and no slack in her skin. She just looks like an old lady with a facelift, botox and fillers. My derm's nurse won't put botox underneath the eyes nor a lot of filler in the nasolabial folds because she thinks it's a more natural look.

I'm not against any cosmetic procedure but make sure your face and body match! Bad Grin
