Hello there 
I've been a lurker for a while thank you everyone in the EDS community who post informative questions and answers!
I had quite a nasty fall a couple of days ago while going up the stairs (yes up >.<) and now have some awful blue and purple bruising to show for it.
I have a nuface machine and I'm wondering if it would help make the bruising go away quicker?
If not, are there any other suggestions to help make the bruises fade away faster?

| I always use my microcurrent nuface for bruises, I read somewhere where it helps them heel faster. So do LED lights , massaging arnica cream or ointment into them, Vicks vaporub massaged also helps and oral arnica. Hope you get better quickly! |

After the first 24 hours you can alternate hot and cold. Instead of the usual wet compresses, I like to use the plastic containers from lotions of various types as they are the right shape - both curved and flat. You can also use a jar or cup. Fill with hot water, cover with a thick sock. For cold, fill it partially and put in freezer. Can be reused. I always have a couple of these in my freezer.
About 15 minutes is about right for treatment time. You can also use a warm one when you go to bed to have an improvement overnight. |
