| I had microneedling done about 2.5 hours ago on my face and now the sides of my mouth have bulged out and sunk down creating a large fold. Not sure if it's swelling or what? Had this ever happened to anyone? |

| Put ice on it,frozen veggie bags, cool compresses, see if that takes the swelling down. Just watch for itching or bumps, if that occurs call the place where you had it done and get some advice or take some Benadryl, if you think it's a histamine reaction. |

You mention in your other thread that you had 2.5mm needling done on alot of your face. That's a super long length for the face, and may well be the reason for your reaction. I agree that icing is your best course of action.
I hope it's abit better today. |

| Hi - I am just now seeing this. For some reason missed your responses and thank you so much. The swelling went down pretty quickly after I removed the gel peptide mask that they had me put on at home. Not sure what was in it but it was so scary looking. I looked like I aged 10 years with big saggy jowels. Anyway, I'm still actively searching for a solution to my wrinkles. I know it's too soon to see anything from the needling, it hasn't even been a month but I will tell you that on my chest it seemed to make the skin worse. It has gotten really crepey and almost looked like cracked cement and when I moved it creased up like an old lady. I decided to get a Vi Peel a couple of days ago and am peeling right now, so we shall see if that helped. I think the more I am chasing this the worse things are getting. Not sure but my skin seems to have aged overnight and I just went through M so maybe that's why? I am 51. Any thoughts. |
