I had been using Pureology Pure Volume for color treated hair since forever... but I feel like I want to change it up, or at least have an option of changing it up... I will once or twice a week use a more conditioning/hydrating product... but my hair is so thin, I need body and volume most of the time.
Would prefer sulfate free - I did try the volume conditioner from Alterna's bamboo line - just made my hair too soft...
I've tried a couple of leave-ins too and those didn't do anything for me!

We're currently trying (husband and I) Alterna Red Clover line of products and also products from Ovation. My husband prefers the Alterna shampoo over the Ovation one though. I did try Retress from Sephora but didn't care for it at all. I've always been a fan of Alterna. You can also check out Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Conditioner. |

Nothing too medical, but have you tried aloe vera oil for more volume to your hair? This worked for me, but I don't think it works for everyone. I saw a 1oz bottle sold for less than $5 in ebay.
Also, I had problems with very and I mean, extremely thin hair before. I had to go to bosley, I'm sure you've seen them on television. I had a pretty simple procedure and afterwards, they recommended Dove for my hair type too. |

I forgot to mention that massaging your head will help as well. |
