Im looking to create my own range of natural skincare products and was wondering if anyone here had done a course in this area or knew of a good online course that I could look into. |

I would read all I could about skin care in general. I prefer books written by doctors.
There is also several forums dedicated to making products. I would read as much as possible.
I took my esthetic course at the local community college. While I enjoyed the course, we did not talk about formulating our product. I did learn a lot about skin care but if you read good books you will learn just as much. For example: our teacher emphasized the importance of wearing sunscreen daily. I agree. But she did not tell us exactly what ingredients to look for. (This forum and others will tell what active ingredients for complete UVA and UVB.)
I did take my classes in the mid '90's.
I only make very basic items so I am hoping someone will post about where to find more information on formulating. |

If you are in the UK, Aromantic Natural Skin Care offers courses, books, and other related materials:

Not sure if you've seen this blog on formulating but if you are located in BC, I believe they also offer classes as well as several paid e-books on formulating in addition to many free downloadable pdfs:
