I'm wondering at what age should you start using products with Argireline in them? |

Dede, I have the same question too. How old are you? I am 31 but do not have any wrinkle, only just develeped a couple of fine line under my eyes this winter (new to the extreme coldnese here in Canada). People told me I have young skin (due to the great GA foundation I think )but in fact my skin is so dehydrated and dull...I have just ordered Vit. C serum but have been wondering if I should start with the AHA/Argireline now. Could anyone please advise? Is AHA/Argireline too strong for non-mature skin or it's good for all ages as a prevention?
Thanks.

kk, I'm also 31, and I'm mostly concerned about prevention too. I do have one vertical line on the bridge of my nose that I could see becoming more prominent as time goes on!
I am using Vitamin C, and while I've not seen any dramatic changes with it, I'm using it primarily as prevention.
Exactly what is GA foundation?

Giorgio Armani foundation.
Maybe you can have a look at the Age-Limit Advanced Refinishing Serum and the Relax-A-Line seruem of CsRx. http://www.cellularskinrx.com
There are other threads in this forum that talk about these products.

I don't think that there is any specific age at which you should start. I started using ADCE last year (27) but I'm not using it religiously or all over my face. |

Thanks Mabsy, you are so resourceful!
I guess you are right that it shouldn't depends on age but your skin condition. So you don't think the ADCE is too strong then? I should give it a shot!
Thanks.

I havent used anything on my face since Vivier vit C serum for 5 days now and my skin seems to be looking the best it has for ages. Im coping very well without any moisturiser at all. How wierd is that, and how much cash could I have saved..... |

Kk1668 - for my skin ADCE is quite gentle. I think they sell sample packs, which would be a good way to go especially if you have sensitive skin (which I don't know if you do). I don't think it's too early to start AHAs either, you could try a 10% cleanser to start off with and go easy as AHAs can dry out your skin if overused.
Cindi - good to hear! Vivier has more slip than the Cellex-C or the Skinceuticals. I don't think I could go without moisturiser after the Vivier but it leaves my face feeling normal rather than slightly tight (which is what I got with the Skinceuticals). |
