I have been using WEN and loved it, but I'm afraid of it now with all the complaints about hair loss and terrible customer service.
Can anyone tell me how I wash my hair with conditioner and also, is there any problems which have arisen with hair loss from using just a conditioner and not shampoo? Also, which product works well for this.
Thanks! |

This advice was given to me by a tricologist (specialist in hair loss) after medication caused a lot of my hair to fall out.
Use a shampoo to clean your scalp. It will also clean your hair at the same time but it is your scalp that needs to be clean (just like the rest of your skin). The conditioner should only go onto your hair, not your scalp. Obviously some will get on your scalp but don't rub the conditioner into your scalp as it can block the pores of your scalp.
My advice would be to use a good shampoo and just a small amount of conditioner on your hair if you need it. |

Have you tried INVATI line of Aveda? It reduces hair loss. |

Look for a conditioner with no silicones. I like Tresemme or Suave (no longer available in Canada).
There is information available on the naturallycurly.com forum as many wavy and curly hair ladies use this method.
Lorraine Massey also wrote a book. She is the founder of Deva hair products and deva salons.
I borrowed the book from the library. |
