So I was buying a foundation and came across.... It Cosmetics, Your Skin But Better CC+.... and the first ingredients is "snail secretion filtrate". What the heck?
So I googled it and sure enough snail mucus is a thing now in face creams. I actually bought the It Cosmetics foundation after testing several and it's quite amazing stuff.
Has anyone tried a face cream with the main ingredient of snail secretions? If so how well did it work? (I hesitate calling it snail mucus.LOL) |

Ha, I have this BB cream foundation and love It! But I did not even notice the snail secretion mentioned.
However, I have tried one or two other face serums and creams with snail secretions or slime and did not like them, made my face break out. |

"snail secretion filtrate" !!!
I just could not imagine what that could possibly be. It would seem to suggest that they filter the slimy stuff that snails leave behind but I wonder what sort of preservative or sanitiser they would have to use to even include it in a cream that is used on the face. |

I've been using Missha Aqua Cell Renewal with snail secretions for about a year, and I like it.
I order it from eBay (Hong Kong) and get it within a week. I got some samples and they weren't very expensive. It's a big seller in Asia. |
