Hello, I need advice on fat transfer.
I am considering to have fat transfer done on my temple areas, smile lines, and chin areas. However, my doctor told me that I could not have it injected on the areas that I had Juvederm (hyaluronic acid filler) injected a little bit more than one year ago, unless those areas have been neutralized with enzymes for at least 7 days. He claimed that even though hyaluronic acid would be absorbed by the body, there is always about 10% of residuals remaining in the body. If hyaluronic acid is not neutralized completely, it will interact with our own fat cells, resulting in precipitations and subsequently lumps would be formed.
Does anyone have any experience on Juvederm and fat transfer?
Thank you! |

Out of curiosity, what is a fat transfer and how is it done? Is it safe with no down time? I have been considering having something done to my face, as I am in my early 40's. I am glad I read this on the Juvederm fillers, as I was thinking about getting some kind of filler! |
