You cant take one tablespoon of spirulina and "expect" something to happen. There is nothing miraculous about it. No more than eating good amounts of fruits and veggies. |

Hi Mansi.
I have taken Spirulina for a number of years. I always notice a difference in the clarity of my skin when I am taking green powders. I use Healthforce Spirulina and a product they have called greener grasses.
I take at least 2 tbl. a day, which i think would be a standard dose (once someone has built up to it..which it appears that you have done) I mix it with greener grasses which is a combo of dif grasses (oat, barley, etc). Personally. if I had to choose one over the other I would choose the green powder over the Spirulina. You might want to try adding a product like this to your Spirulina protocol. |

Thanks Jasminerosey,
I will try to find wheat grass or barley grass powder and add it to my routine..
Have you seen a difference in your hair as well with Spirulina intake?

I do notice a dif in the quality of my hair, including losing hair, depending on my diet. For me, Spirulina and green powder is a part of that dif, but not all of it. The rest of my diet also has to be pure and anti-inflammatory (for my body) |

Hi Mansil23
I have been taking Spirulina and Chlorella for about 4 years now. Benefits for me: clear, smooth skin; cleansing (chlorella); re energy; less (knee/ankle)joint pain; better health (no colds/flu). Studies indicate the higher the dosage the more benefits realized. At one point I was taking 16g of each, daily, and my hair appeared to be thicker and I felt healthier. I hope to build back up to that dose soon, but currently I take 6g each - daily |
