Well I just finished tinting my lashes with the blue/black & LOVE my lashes. I can't stop looking at them, which is very dangerous while I'm driving! Anyway, now I'd like to tint my brows, but I don't know what color to order. Brown Black or Dark Brown? My skin is very tan (mac nc 42, Stila 60 watts, Chanel-Beige, Aromaleigh 4w, Alima 5w, Armani lsf 8, Becca-bamboo, Illuminare-Tuscan Toast, L'oreal-W7, etc.- can U tell I'm a m/u addict). My hair is naturally level 2 black, but I dye it to a level 5 warm brown. It looks like most ladies use the dark brown, but I think that most of them were caucasion & much fairer than I am. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

I tint my lashes ebony black and tint my brows dark brown. I have black hair naturally by have brown/caramel highlights. I got the lighter and figured if it was too light I could always mix a smidge of my black to make it a little darker. Mine turned out fine. |

I have blonde hair with darker highlights. I use the blue/black for my lashes and the brown from my brows. The blue/black is very dark on the brows, so I would suggest using the brown~ |

Thanks for your replies. Ariesxtreme sounds like we have the same hair color. I will do the Dark Brown. Just to clarify, did you end up having to mix any of your black in with the Dark Brown dye? |

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, have searched through a lot of the posts but haven't been able to find an answer as yet. I would really like to darken my eyebrows a bit, as they are a very light ashy blonde, and get blonder towards the ends to the point of being invisible! I don't want to make them very dark at all as I think it would look unnatural, just dark enough that I can see them properly. My natural hair colour is light blondey-brown, and I have pale skin.
I'm not sure whether to go with dark brown or brown black, as I'm worried that dark brown might have too much of a reddish hue? I thought that if I just left the brown-black on for a really short amount of time it might give a sort of light ash colour. Anyone have any advice/experience? Most of the posts are about eyelashes, which I don't plan to do ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Is anyone still using the 1000 hour lash tint for lashes and or brows?
It has been a long time since I have used it and am thinking of doing it again. I see that Amazon carries it. |

I am in Canada and use Combinal (vegetable) tint. I buy it from Cosmo Prof. I use the dark brown. I am quite fair and I do not see any red undertones.
I would apply and then after a minute wipe a small end section (clean) with a damp papertowel to see the colour. If not dark enough, apply colour again.
Sally's has Roux brow and lash tint. It works ok for brows but the Combinal is better. |

Yes, i still use it regularly. I tint only brows and i use Brown Black. Tried once Dark Brown and i don't really like the color on me.
I tried several other solutions, but nothing works like 1000 hour lash tint. Every other color i tried tint more the skin under your brows. |
