I'm looking for a daytime product to wear under my sunscreen that will help with acne and redness.
Does a product like that exist without oils, BP, or acids? |

A lot of Paula's Choice products have anti-inflammatory and anti-redness ingredients.
You could also make a really simply DIY HA serum. Maybe put in some panthenol or or allantoin or something. |

| CosRx is a Korean skincare product. Salicylic Acid is not otc in that country so they use Willow bark water and 4% Bentain Salicylate which is more gentle than SA but just as effective. Some even say more effective. It also contains Niacinamide which is also beneficial for oily, clog, acne prone skin. I use the CosRx now and it's been working pretty good. It keeps my skin clear and no clogs or breakouts. It is more of an "essence" so it's a thicker water consistency. Works very well under my sunscreen. Another good one is PCA Skin Clearskin which has 4% Niacinamide. I use this also but mainly at night after I do a chemical peel 1-2 x's a week. |

Update.
Thank you Esthy. I recently ordered Cosrx's BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and my skin loves it. It is just what I needed and I love the minimal ingredients. For the cost, the amount of product is unbeatable. The price through Amazon Prime is beyond affordable. It applies smoothly and sinks into my skin quickly, leaving a velvety finish. There is no sting. I am able to use this each morning, even after shaving, without any adverse side effects. My skin does not feel dried out after application or throughout the day. My skin is less red after 5 days of use and its texture has improved.
I also ordered the AHA liquid to rotate at night with Finacea. So far, so good. Have you tried any of their other products? |
