all Dr. H users absolutely WORSHIP the stuff! It's so fantastically amazing! It gives such effective, immediately visible results—like a complete skin makeover! The products are fun to use and smell so incredible—each has it's own unique, distinct fragrance.
If you start with one product you will very quickly be converted to the entire line! ..anything else will seem to "undo" Dr. H's miracle work. I adore these products so much. I've gotten so many of my friends to 'join the cult.' I tell them Madonna and Kate Moss (the leaders of the cult) use it religiously and I can't stop raving about it myself. ..I know people out there know what I'm talking about. c'mon: be loud. be proud! |

I have to admit, I am becoming increasingly impressed with this line.
I started using the cleansing creme and the milk 5 days ago and can't sing their praises enough. Fantastic products! I'm looking at two of the masks in the Dr. H line now (I'm addicted to masks ) and expect them to be great as well.

I was getting in the shower today..looked at my beloved Dr.H Cleansing Cream and thought :"I wish they never discontinue this cleanser". Evere since I started using this cleanser my pores cleared up so well. I never thought that something, except squeezing them out, will ever clean them. This is it! Dr.H Cleansing Cream
I also use rejuvenating mask and Quince cream and absolutely love both. |

Yep, I actually ordered pretty much the entire line after using the CC for a few days. and I'm now using the line exclusively. I keep meaning to write a review, but people just keep beating me to the punch
For the most part I do love it, but I do have a few major gripes - mainly the fact that I have to wait at least half an hour after I've applied my moisturiser before I can apply my BE, which is just hell in the mornings.
I'll write a proper review when I finish the Rhythmic Night Conditioner |

all i can say is that after years of having problem skin after using dr h for about a year, my skin has never been better! don't get me wrong, i still get little breakouts, but they are less frequent, not as bad and go away faster.
i've also managed to get friends into the 'dr h cult' and they've never looked back!
along with the good results i'm getting, i also love the philsophy behind the products. i try to use natural cleaning products and stuff like that at home so i'm not polluting the water too much so the dr h stuff with it's many natural ingredients fits in well with my beliefs.
anyway, i could go on all day! if there's a cult register anywhere sign me up!!!

I bought the cleansing cream first and after about a week (or even a few days) I bought some masks, the cleansing milk, bronzing concentrate, toner, rose day cream, quince day cream, steam concentrate and the phythmic night conditioner I currently have two tubes of cleansing cream "in stock" and always maintain a backup of it
I am yet to try the mud mask and the eye cream and they're both really tempting. I also keep meaning to buy one of the body oils but I always forget when I'm placing my order. My other half loves one of their shampoos as well
I don't use it exclusively, I can't use ANYTHING exclusively.... |

oops, I lied! I guess I got too excited for my own good.. sorry, I actually meant to say that I use the face care line exclusively.
pre-Dr. H, I was using a combination of different brands, usually having just one product being a really nice brand (such as a moisturizer or a mask) as a treat/splurge. However, once stumbling upon Dr. H, I was getting hooked product after product. The face care line is so great and work sort of as a system anyway. (that's how they getcha!)
but definitely I want to try out the body and hair care lines eventually. I'll have to wait and save up, plus I've yet to read some reviews for the products. |

I love love love love love Dr. H!!! I am an (almost) exclusive user of their face care line. I really like their body line, especially the bath products. I am sorry to say that the hair care line didn't do much for my oily, fine hair with itchy scalp - but for anyone with a similar affliction Aubrey Organics is the absolute best I've found (they are all natural, too).
Dionne-- I have not heard of the daily revitalizing eye cream. Is it not sold in the US? |

I was recently in the Toronto Sephora and they were completely sold out of ALL of the Dr. H moisturizers - completely cleaned out - nothing!! I think I spent more time smelling the the Rose Cream tester than I did doing anything else while I was in the store....if you like rose - WOW - this stuff has the most *beautiful* scent - and the texture is just sumptuous - gorgeous stuff!!

I am on thr Dr H roll at the mo love the normalising day and thinking of getting the bronze concentrate - does this cover acne scars or even make much difference? |

I have also been eyeing the bronze concentrate for a while now. I have slight olive-toned skin and was wondering for those who use this product: how well does this product blend into the skin and how dark/concentrated is it? Since there is just one "shade/tone" I figure you are supposed to either use more or less of the product to get the desired results.
anyone have a review? |

I'm also wondering about the Dr H bronzer. Will it even out skin tone or make darker spots more noticeable? Sunless tanning cream or other bronzers usually do this to me.....
I use the Day Oil every morning and LOVE it!! I've recently had some break outs but have only been using Dr H for a couple weeks so it's not the cause, you wouldn't believe all the different things I've tried and done to my skin in the last two months, if anything Dr H is calming it all down. |

I think I've purchased most of the Dr H products, but the bronze concentrate has scared me a little too. I have very fair skin with pink undertones and I'm worried it might make me too dark or orangey! I tried squirting out a sample at the health food store but it was VERY liquidy and came out so fast I ended up spilling it all over their Dr Hauschka display and I slinked away in shame. LOL. |

Correct, you use more or less depending on the shade you want. I am very pale and find that about half a pump (from memory) gives me a healthy glow. I think there have been a number of reviews of it here. If you do a search then you should be able to find them. I'm sure there is also some reviews of it on MUA |

I’m a naughty girl...you know what I did? I got myself a little plastic jar with a lid (like the container they put salsa in when you order breatfast tacos at Taco Cabana) and slinked down to my local Whole Foods and filled the entire jar/container to the brim with Dr. H bronzer, snapped the lid on, and went about finishing the rest of my shopping. When I got up to the checkout line, I slipped my “sample” in my purse when I was getting my wallet out. I figured, as pale as I am, that I got enough bronzer in my sample jar to last me the entire season! *Hangs head in shame* Hey, it’s not my fault!! On a previous trip to Whole Foods, I asked the SA in the beauty section if they provided samples and she told me that they didn’t have any containers to provide individual samples, so I was just using a little homemade ingenuity.... |

Carekate how shocking!!!
I like your style
The only place they sell Dr H up this end is in Selfridges the upmarket shop, next time I'm there I'll try it - they watch you like a hawk.
If I'm planning on going abroad and say I want MAC mAKE-UP - i go to the conter (again MAC is scarce up here, never mind your mineral stuff) have a full consultation - for free, it starts off as a question and before they know it, it is a full consultation and then I say oh I'll come back tomorow so then when I am away other half does not get annoyed waiting an hour in make-up shop.
When it comes to beauty deep down we are all devious and cunning |

That's actually not a bad idea, Carekate. I mean...really...how are you supposed to 'try out' the bronze concentrate in a crowded grocery store? You need time to mix it with your own moisturizer and experiment to find the right amount and then apply it in a well-lit mirror! |

Honestly, I think I speak for a lot of Dr. H users but as a starting point in the Dr. Hauschka line I'd have to recommend the Cleansing Creme. I think you'll see this will be a fantastic starting point.
I started with the cleansing creme and the milk, but the creme is the best. I have since used the firming mask and moisturising mask and am waiting for several other Dr. H products to arrive so I can use them (specifically, the rejuvenating mask, facial toner, and toned day cream). I can honestly say, I haven't been disappointed with any Dr. H products so far.
Hope this helps,
Stephanie |
