Hello everyone!
I'm new to this forum. After doing a brief research of old posts, I found that there are many "raves" about cellcosmet eye products.
I'm really attempted! But not quite sure about the difference between all three products in cellcosmet eye care range. I know both of the cream were for 25+ skin and the gel is for 20+ skin. But what else?
I'm in my early 20's now. But recently the eyes are getting worse very quickly, in particular for the dark circle and "undereye bag" problem. I strongly hope to find an eyecream that could solve these problems.
So, would you pls give me some advice about the eyecream? I'm using Avocado eyecream from Kiehl's at the moment. I think it's quite moisturizing, but not effective enough to solve my problems.
Thank you in advance for your advice! |

Hi Vani. Eyes are my big problem too but them again I am 39 next birthday I've tried so many eye creams Im on the verge of giving up. Cellcosmet is my last hope. Well not true, cause Ive decided to give Strivectin a go if it doesnt work now, THEN Im giving up, maybe after trying the Decleor Hydrotensuer The Cellcosmet is in a class of its own, even the box it comes in is deluxe. I havent been using it long enough for a real review but I am very happy with it, it has re-hydrated my eyes and Im hoping the fine lines will disappear with continued use. As for dark circles, not sure such a thing exists to get rid of them all together, a good concealer may help you while you are searching. Everyone raves about the Jane Iredale Circle Delete, so I gave in and bought it. Ive used it twice and although I need to master the application, Im happy so far. Wow, Ive used the word happy so far in one post. Im never usually this positive so this is a good thing. Im sure you will get more thorough advice once more people log in. In the meantime, do a search of dark circle and eye bags and you will find plenty of posts to keep you going. |

Hi Cyndi!
Thank you very much for your advice.
Yeah..I too don't usually have positive opinions on products. So really glad to find a person like you (or like us) to actually rave about a product! That's wonderful!
Yeah..as you said, I've almost given up my eye problems too, coz I used computers a lot every day and I always have to stay up late:(
I've decided to give cellcosmet a try to see if it makes any differences. Do you ever use any other products from cellcosmet? If so, is it any good?
Have a nice day!
PS. I'm also in the UK. Glad to know you here. |

Hi Vani, thanks for the reply. I havent used any other products by Cellcosmet, so too bloody expensive. I'd love to try the creams but thats a defo no no at the moment. Especially as Ive just for a new puppy Ive been using Vivier Vitamin C eye serum and Vivier serum 20 for 2 weeks and am happy with the results. Ive tried the Alphaderma but that was drying, and I never dry. Im just switching to Yonka as a last ditch attempt. After that Im giving up. Apart from eyes, I think Im trying to fix problems that dont exist. But my eyes definately need help Oh well, Im in the North Eastby the way, let me know how you get on with the Cellcosmet. |

HI!
I'll definitely let you know about my cellcosmet result.
I'm in London now, so it's great place for shopping. But the price here is just way too high! |

Thank you cyndi and everyone.
Everything in the UK is more expensive, isn't it? It's not fair.
Btw, when you ordered things from EDS before, have you ever been charged customs tax?
Thanks! |

I have the eye contour cream and also the eye complex gel. The cream is my absolute favorite eye cream and as such I have not actually used the gel so much (only a few times so far). The eye contour cream is a very light weight yet moisturising cream. It really does moisturise well unless you have particularly dry skin (I know someone here uses BOTH the cream and the gel). There have also been a number of reviews that reported that it's good for reducing fine lines. In terms of dark circles, Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue has been my saviour. |

Hi Mabsy!
I'm also very intrigued to the PTR Vit. K eye cream too. Actually can't decide which one to go for, coz my budget doesn't allow me to buy both of them at the same time. Definitely have to choose one!
Meanwhile, I'm also quite interested in the Alphaderma eyecare Ostukil(Sp?). It seems that you have tried all of these. Which one would you recommend? I think my major concern is the eyebag and the darkcircle, rather than finelines.
Thank you! |

Vani...
The Cellcosmet stuff is at the top of my wish list too, but if you're looking for a less expensive alternative, I'd recommend Teamine. I've had excellent results with it - it had a major effect on the dark circles even when I miss sleep.
Lines weren't all that much of a problem for me. In fact, I didn't really have them until I started to use Okusil. Some people have had great results with Okusil, but no matter what I did, I wasn't one of them! And that is with pretty oily skin...
I'm pretty happy with the Teamine, although I still use Decleor Serum Hydrotenseur cause I LOVE the firming I get from it... |

Vani - I can't really do a comparison because I no longer have any major problems with dark cirlces and, also, have not used the Okusil for long enough. The PTR was the most effective for me but I found that it wasn't moisturising enough so I was using another cream on top of it. I know that they improved the formulation recently so perhaps it's more moisturising now? Not sure.... |

Cindi- puppy sounds lovely.
All others- should i be using eye cream, am 21 years old and for now I just rub ordinary moisturiser into my eye area when I do the rest of my face- am sure this is naughty naughty skin care- but my skin is completely in-sensitive. I didn't think I had a problem until my friend pointed out today that I had bags under my eyes (she did it it the nicest manner though). How early do people start using specialised anti-bag products?
Thanks guys! This is always so lovely and helpful |

HI maddy!
In my view, it's better to prevent than actually "cure" eyebags. So when it's not that significant, you should start to deal with it.
There is no "right age" to start using an eye cream. You started using it when you think you need it. But be careful some of the eye creams may be too "heavy" for you.
So I suggest uou can start using some light textured eye gel from the very beginning, and gradually go for creams and other specific eye treatments.
Hope this helps a little! |

hi there!
I've been using PTR vit K for a week (very diligently) and I am extremely surprised at the results!! I'm the biggest skeptic with expensive cremes but after reading MANY posts on this board about the PTR vit K stuff, decided to give it a try and I'm in love with it!!!! I have horribly dark (almost black) circles and I can already see a noticable difference!!! and I'm excited that you only use SUCH a small amount!!! even at twice a day, there's hardly a dent in my jar, so makes the price a little more justifiable!! |

I've tried 2 samples of the Cellcosmet cream and although I do really like it I'm having a hard time justifying purchasing
I have some Okusil on order with EDS. The dispatch of my order is not due until tomorrow (19th) and now I'm tempted to add the PTR to my order wonder if EDS have any samples. Better drop them an e-mail |

Many thanks for both of you.
I still haven't purchased the cellcosmet, as I got samples of La Prairie eye products. And it does make a difference. So I'm struggling which to buy, you know you can't buy both... |

My two cents:
I have tried all kinds of eye creams and had to go back to use Cellcosmet to rescur my poor eye area when one product made it worse or did not do anything and made the lines show. I am not giving up to try to find something that is cheaper and will work for fine lines around my eye areas other than Cellcosmet though. It is so ridiculous that they charge so much for a little tiny bottle of eye cream.

I recently bought the cellcosmet eye cream for myself and mom, and i have to say babs was right when she said cellcosmet should be for the more "mature" ladies. i don't really have any visible problems in the eye area, so i feel like i am wasting money on cellcosmet, so i am leaving that for my mom to use exclusively, and i am going to look for a more appropriate eye cream for myself. any suggestions? i am preventing. |

I bought the sample size pack for sensitive skin here at EDS. It gives you the eye contour cream to test (and quite a decent amount, I might add)You could always test that way. I'd love to be able to afford it on a regular basis. The cream is wonderful. |

During allergy season, I will be using Cellcosmet eye contour gel-XT. This product does work in regards to puffy eyes. Also, if I had a good cry my eyelids look like small balloons!
I thought this is a perfect way to test this product and you know what?
It worked!!!
I would also like to say that Re Vive eye renewal gel worked just as well but not that easy for me to get in Canada.
As for the Cellcosmet eye contour cream. I am happy with it. Not sure if it does a great job with puffiness. I don't want to have another good cry to test out the eye contour cream. But I can say it soften the eye area and did not irritate my eyes.
Yes, it is very expensive product, but so far I think it is worth every penny! Please remember that the creams are highly concentrated, so you only dab a little unless you will be in a very, very dry area. For example: skiing all day, or indoors in the winter with the fireplace on all the time and it gets dry in your house.
As for the dark circles, I cannot comment.
I think Mabsy is doing the right thing by using Vit. K.
I can't remember who, maybe Katee or Carekate or was it someone else?
Who shared with me in pm, that she was using AP eye cream and she said it was to die for! I'm sure it is and I want to try it but it is not sold in Canada as far as I know. |
