Is there any way to measure LAA levels in a C serum? There is a lot of speculation but it would be nice to have solid info on how quickly LAA degrades in various formulations. For instance:
* 15% LAA in water
* 15% LAA & 1% vit E in water
* 15% LAA & 1% vit E & 0.5% FA in water
Does anyone know how you might go about testing this with or without serious lab equipment.
Alternatively is there a reliable data that shows this?
Thanks for any help. |

a simple way is to use iodine (betadine)
i googled a vitamin c test and did a test
i added in a smaller container
5ml water (1 tsp)
add 2 drops of starch solution (consisting of 1 part baking soda to 5 parts water)
+ vitamin c serum 1/8 tsp
Iodine is an oxidant.
Vitamin C an anti-oxidant.
Add iodine drop by drop.
The brown iodine will turn clear by the vitamin C.
Count the number of drops of iodine it takes before the solution turns brown.
Compare the 3 kinds of solution you have formulated and review the results. The more iodine drops you counted, the better the formulation.
Hope this helps. |
