Hello all DIY people!
I'll get right into it: I have seen several DIY Vit CE Ferulic on this site, but none that were posted or commented on (from what I saw at least) in the past 3-5 years. Im sure those who are still making their own DIY vit C have seen great improvments and/or maybe great adjustments to the previous methods of making it.
So my question is, thus far, which is your absolute favorite DIY for Vit CE Ferulic? Which has given you the best results?
I have purchased my l-ascorbic powder, jojoba oil, witch hazel, ferulic acid, vitamin e oil, some aloe vera gel, and even polysorbate 80--although I dont know if I will even be needing it.
Any suggestions or recommendations from you all, especially those who have experience in the DIY for Vitamin C, it is GREATLY appreciated!
P.S. I'd LOVE to see pictures of any before and afters if anyone is willing to share!
Thanks in advance,
Gee. |

From experience, and believe me, I tried, nothing, I mean nothing, will compare to the like of SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum
YES, you can BUY every ingredient that's contained in the product
Water, Ethoxydiglycol, L-Ascorbic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Laureth-23, Alpha Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Ferulic Acid, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate
But you will still have an inferior product.
IF YOU INSISTS, HERE ARE THE SUGGESTED CONCENTRATIONS
15% L-ascorbic acid
1% alpha tocopherol (vitamin E)
0.5% ferulic acid |
