Did anyone use olay microsculpting cream ? is it really good? any improvements noticed? or just another hyped product with no results. Please share your experience friends. And if anyone have used olay microsculpting cream as well as creams like la mer, clinique, origins, clarins etc..could you please compare and tell if it is better to stick with olay or go for higher brand ones..I am currently using good old cetaphil moisturising lotion at night on my face |

Hi.
I've been using Olay Microsculpting cream, and serum for a number of years. Truthfully, I'm not sure whether on its own it does much; I use Retin a 0.5, Vit C and Alpha Hydrox 12% glycolic soufflé on regular basis. Having said that, as with others, as a moisturiser it's fine. Mind you, I would never again use Clinique as it stripped my face of any moisture! I'm sure it works for some, but for me, it's far too harsh!
Opinion on moisturisers seem to be divided: some believe that they are essential part of their daily routine, whereas others stay away from them believing that they make their skin lazy. Regardless of one's believes, sunscreen, in my opinion, is the most important cream one should use religiously. |

I think a lot of it depends on your skin type and the stresses/goals you have too. For example, my dry skin needs moisturiser. Without it my skin can be actually sore to the touch at times. However in my experience my body copes well with using oils for moisturising and cleansing as it doesn’t strip my skin off stuff or leave it rubbery. Depending whats in the moisturiser as well can have an effect, some ingredients can aggravate certain skin types whilst others may not do anything. Another large part of it depends on where you are starting from too! |
