Hi ladies,
I'm on a mission toward a healthier and cleaner lifestyle in 2016. In being mindful of what I put in and on my body, I am in the process of switching to clean, natural skincare and cosmetics. I recently discovered that Juice Beauty has a cosmetics line. The ingredients look great, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried any of their cosmetics and what their experiences were? Particularly the primer, foundations, concealers and powders. Also wondering about the mascara. Any input about texture, wearability, performance, etc would be much appreciated.
TIA,
Jeanni |

I want to try these as well, especially the concealer since Gwyneth Paltrow said it was as good or better than her Holy Grail product. She is the creative director of the company and spent more than a year collaborating with the founder and chemists to duplicate natural verions of high end products that she liked but wanted to switch to non toxic. I am eager to read reviews. I was surprised that the makeup prices were comparable to most dept. store brands. |

This past weekend, I went to a couple of places and sampled almost every product. Apparently there are two different "lines", so to speak. There are the classic products and now there are the Phyto Pigment products. One one day, I went in with a bare face and made up using the classic products. The next day, I went to an Ulta and made up with the Phyto Pigment products. I noticed that the Phyto Pigment products seem to provide better coverage and they seemed to last longer as well. The classic products were nice too - very natural. But I think I'm going to invest in the Phyto Pigment products.
The only thing I will not be purchasing is the blush (didn't find colors I liked) and the eye shadows. The eye shadow crayons look interesting, but they aren't available for purchase yet. The colors are fairly limited as well.
I plan to purchase in a few days and will post some reviews |

I liked the eye shadow crayons because they'd be portable -- no brush to pack.
Good to hear about the Phyto line. The Gwyneth haters will really be pissed to hear it is so much better than the earlier stuff! |

Was Gwyneth only involved in the Phyto line? I assumed she was involved with all of it, but it makes sense if there's such a difference in the two lines. Say what you want about Gwyneth, the girl knows a lot about clean living and beauty. |

Gwyneth collaborated with the founder Karen Beinke. |

I tried one of the peel masks years ago when I received it as a sample but it didn't do anything for me. I threw it away and haven't tried any other products in their line because, at that time, I concluded that the skincare products weren't as effective for me as brands I'd been using such as Perricone, PTR and some beauty counter lines such as La Mer & La Prairie. I may take a look at their moisturizers again since I'm having difficulty finding any moisturizers that do not have dimethicone in them. It's now being put into everything and my skin just does not tolerate any silicones. |
