Starting with retinol, Which would you rec for a newbie?

I am in my 40s, combo skin, very few lines.

SkinCeuticals Retinols are amazing. They are gentler then Rx but give similar results to Rx. More so then any other otc retinol product I've tried. The texture is cream but has a powdery finish-feel. I have oily skin and this worked for me. You use it like you would an Rx retinoid. Wash face, wait 20-30 mins, apply Retinol then wait another 20-30 mins to apply anything on top if you desire. I use Retin-A now the gentlest %.

I am a dedicated user of ZO Skin Health. To start, you can use a light retinol that is daily renewal cream. Start once a week and slowly move up.
They have radical serum that is very strong (1%) This is serious stuff that does work but you have to have patience with it.

Start gradual and may take a few years to build up to it. It is medically proven to maintain and improve our skin.

Make sure you are totally dedicated with excellent quality with sun protection from now on.
