I'm thinking of getting a home device for my
face. The Baby Quasar Plus Is an LED device,
at 860nm (wavelength), BUT
the Truth Vitality device, Has Both an LED and
an Ultrasound device, is lower in wavelength.
Trying to decide which one to get.
What is the Difference between treating skin
with LED versus Ultrasound?
Thanks |

Hi LindaJane, I've been wondering the same. I have the babyQ the older version. I liked it so much I bought the larger one, though oddly enough I felt the babyQ gave me better results. I think only difference is the size so you can do an area in a shorter time. I haven't seen it lift and tone anything but it seems to give me skin good circulation which gives it a nice glow the day after.
But now I'm reading about The Truth Vitality Lux Renew and wondering if that would lift because of the ultrasound. Hopefully someone here will have tried both and can give us feedback. |

No No No! Hardly any lights and the head of US very small! More lights ~ less treatment time. Also, US at 3Mhz is good but 2Mhz even better! When looking at specs for LED for rejuvenation only ~ seek out 660NM for Acne 415NM. Anything higher as mentioned above penetrates deeper and is used more for pain or healing |

These devices are great if you can spare the minutes! I'm selling my Truth Vitality Lux Rew from Truth in Aging not because it's a bad product but because I'm quite uprooted at the moment and don't use it as often as I should. 3-4 times per week at night 10-20 mins is fine, but I'm struggling to find that time at the moment. It's worth the effort and money though. The ultrasound made my skin feel solid - really firm, I didn't really try the LED, though. I've previously own a baby quasar so I know it can be extremely effective. Just watch you don't use retinoids in conjunction with the red led or maybe alternate uses.
I'm selling my TVL over on ebay UK if anyone is interested |
