I'm using Obagi nu derm(7 weeks in). Just booked a light peel and dermabrasion. Can someone please tell me what products I need to stop for a few days prior to the peel?? Thanks! |

Have you told your esthetician you are currently on this system? I don't really think it's a very good idea until you are finished with the program. Now, a nice, relaxing facial is another thing... |

I mentioned it the last time I was there and they said it was ok if I stopped the tretinoin several days before. I should just trust her, but I'm paranoid. |

If you have been to her before and trust her judgement, you should be ok. I would also stop the Hydroquinone products(if you're using them) a few days before as they are harsh as well.
If you have never been to him or her before, I would question it as establishing you as a new client may be ahead of your skin's health.
At my age(54), I've learned that trusting your gut is a wise move. |

I'd think twice. I've done Obaji Nuderm and doing a peel while doing that will damage your skin. Finish your three months… your skin will look amazing.. you won't need another peel. |

Thanks ladies, I have been there before. When I go in today I'm going to discuss options after she sees my ski- prior to letting her do anything. Based on her answer I will go ahead, or have her do a nice facial since I have an appt. booked. |
