Hello all, I am a new poster (though, an avid reader for sometime now) and I just had to give rave reviews for their new foundation line.
I visited a shop that carries the new and semi-exclusive collection (the SA said it's easiest to come by at Shiseido stand-alones) and purchased nearly everything.
A little background: I am 28 with oily/combo skin that will break out if I don't watch over it like a hawk.
Top Mode Foundation - Oil-free with a rare, wonderful texture. Easy to spread, stays like a dream, gives a lovely dewy look to the skin.
Super FX Liquid Foundation - Also oil-free, this is "thicker" than the other foundation. Very pigmented. This is the first foundation where only tiny pin sized amounts were able to cover my whole face and without looking heavy or unnatural.
Real Fit Powder Foundation - I have never met a powder foundation that worked for me. They usually sit on my skin and make me look clumpy and older. I will admit to buying this for the amazingly cool case (retro modern white with glitter) but, find myself very surprised at how much I like it. It leaves a matte finish with alot of pigment, so, you only need a small amount to cover the skin.
Just be wary with the line as far as the colour selection goes - they are VERY yellow based. |
