Hey all!
Ive been very foolish lately..
I shaved the little hair trail from my belly button going down to tummy.
Anyway...lately Ive noticed that it appears as though there are small dark dots and even these brown looking dots (hyperpigmentation?) in those areas. Ive tried exfoliating desperately but theyre stubborn marks?!
What does this sound like?
It does not feel irritated but looks disgusting especially as I have very fair skin! It stands out a lot.
What can I do to get rid of this?

I don't think shaving would cause hyperpigmentation. It's more likely that you are just starting to see the regrowth of the hair. Or if the hairs are becoming ingrown, it may look like little brown dots. Try exfoliating with one of those bath squooshies or a loofah & see if it brings the hair out to the surface.

Try TendSkin if they're ingrown hairs. It's effective on the bumps. They sell it here at EDS.

You can't do the exfoliating only once. You have to exfoliate the whole time until the hair grows out & has a free end.
