Has anyone else been having customer service issues with EDS lately? I've ordered from them maybe 4 or 5 times over the last few years and have been quite satisfied.

Recently I was surprised. I phoned to ask a quick question about what a certain product should do and was told to call back on a different day that they were too busy for anything except orders. I called back and again felt very rushed with my two questions, however I placed an order and was told products would ship next day. This was a Monday. Things usually arrive fairly quickly since I'm not terribly far from them. When a week or so went by, I called and was told my order hadn't shipped until Friday and it was explained they were busy and someone missed something. Nothing else was offered and the person seemed really impatient and that was it.

I guess I was just taken a back by this.

Hmmmm, well I don't understand it. I was very disappointed, especially since I was completely out of one of the items I ordered.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Perhaps you should write an email addressing your concerns because they may miss your thread/post.

I think it's partly that EDS has gained in popularity recently because they're known for their good service.

For me it's been 99% great.

Once, I was told to call back when was no esthetician was available, and the person on the phone said they be better at answering my Q, and one would get back to me. Which was definitely fine with me, but I didn't ever end up getting my question answered. I like dealing with Kate the best. Plus, she was the first person I dealt with, and so I don't really like dealing with others. Makes things much easier.

That said, I was once double-charged for something and it took days to figure/sort out and it froze nearly $90 on my CC, which sucked...then, I was told I "didn't know what I was talking about", and to call back when I heard from the CC company, etc. Very frustrating.

I won't go into it any furthur, but this is just another reason I always deal with the SAME PERSON when I buy things over the phone. Makes it so much easier and the person gets to know you, avoids confusion, etc etc.

Sorry this happened, in my experience it's rare! Someone will probably see this and sort it out quickly though. I know my post probably didn't help, but if at all possible, try to deal with one person to avoid confusion and if it's not answered/sorted out that way, go straight to the manager.

Unfortunately, I placed an order on February 17 and even used my $50 gift voucher. I've been patient, because I wasn't out of either product at the time that I ordered. But, I still haven't received my items Sad

I've been in touch with Customer Service, but they couldn't provide any kind of tracking number. I've asked them to reship the items. I know the mail can be maddeningly slow but NOTHING takes over a month !

I'm not sure if the items have been reshipped, but if I don't get something soon, I'm going to dispute the charge on my credit card. BUT, that won't recoup my $50 voucher Crying or Very sad

Yes I have. They always respond very promptly but their answers just aren't definitive. I do understand - The U.S. Postal System just ain't what it used to be - but I also don't like paying for something that I haven't been able to get my hot little hands on !!!

I also had problem with my last order. It was sort of an email screwup. I decided to use my voucher but neglected to include my forum name in the comment field. CS emailed and I replied back. 3 weeks has gone by and no package. Eventually I emailed cs again and found out my order was never shipped since they never received my email. I even have an email confirmation back from eds when I replied with my forum name.

Eds did apologized and gave me free shipping. That made me happier Very Happy

Hope you get your package soon!

I haven't emailed them but I did call. After checking the mail today, still no package. I'm beginning to wonder if they did *actually* ship my items even though I was told they had been.

I think overall my frustration was with the attitude, like: we forgot, we're busy, oh well... As a business owner myself, I get bugged about that. If you're busy, hire more people, don't complain to the customer.

Have you check your order status online? Does it say shipped? Mine was pending for the longest time then I found out it wasn't shipped.
