I have always had an expressive face but lately have noticed some serious lines under my eyes and crow's feet when I smile. It's really messing with me, I feel like they came out of nowhere. I look 10 years older. They are not there when I'm not smiling.
I have a tube of retin-a expiring in a couple months - can I use it under the eye? |

I wouldn't use it under my eyes; that's a very delicate area and you know how irritating Retin-A can be. Why don't you try something with retinol in it? |

Op, what is your skincare routine? Do you exfoliate your skin & use good moisturizers ? |

I use retin a near my eyes, but I dilute it with lotion and am very cautious. I use a little, then wait a few days to make sure it didn't irritate the skin too much before i use more.
Make sure you find a good sunscreen, sleep a lot, and eat really healthy. Retin will help but you have to do the other things too. |

First of all I don't think you can call them deep wrinkles if they disappear when you're not smiling.
They're expression lines. Or future expression lines.
Consider this a heads up and take stock of your current skin routine.
Retin A is only good for that area if you're already acclimated to it and start slowly in that area. Otherwise, it would make the area appear worse for a good long while before it gets better.
I have the same issue but I'm twice your age. Mine also disappear when I don't smile...but I still smile.
I do understand that at your age you're not ready for this and they could turn permanent.
What you should concentrate on, though, is making your skin as healthy as possible without being overly aggressive. Encourage hydration and cell turnover and mild exfoliation. You might want to consider dermarolling or LED therapy and drink lots of water to keep your skin healthy.
There's no magic bullet for one size fits all but things with hyaluronic acid, peptides and vit c and retinol are good, in general, for nourishing the skin.
Also consider anything different that you're doing or using lately.
And do your own research without getting overwhelmed and trying everything all at once. |

Hi there,
I hear you. And agree that eye area is very age defining. Usually, as soon as a woman hits 25, look under her eyes: wrinkles!
With all the fillers available today, you see more and more women reaching towards injectables. Because they work. But what are they? Hyaluronic Acid. All these life style facelift are circular injections of HA.
I am not fond of retinols, I have to say. I have seen many women with redness and peeling in under eye area, and the skin there is so fragile and thin. Apply a good cream with quality HA and see how it goes. The beauty of HA, as it is natural to our body, it is not rejected, and HA is synthesized into sugars that produce more HA! A gift that keeps giving. Because of a very light molecular weight, HA can hold a crazy amount of water. Up to 1 000 times its weight! As the first signs of aging are due to de hydration, this would be my first recommendation.
Not all products with HA are created equal, but that is totally another story.
If HA creams do not work, then you have mechanical, so to speak, problems! Due to not wearing sun glasses, smiling all the time and so on. To soften the wrinkles you may try to apply products with Matrixyl 3000. It works. But to a certain extend.
Lancome, Strivectin and Skin Liberated and Dior have solid products.
Give it a try, as creams are cheaper than injectables. |

Wrinkles under the eye actually shows the aging process which is taking place as you are growing old. I would recommend you to give a try for eyevage, a dermatological tested product, and it helps you to deeply moisturise and get rid of multiple signs of aging whether it is dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles or crow's feet. |

I have always used a moisturizer, currently for day & night I use Monsia Skincare but now after applying my night repair cream I add a few drops of vit E oil especially on forehead, around eyes and neck to seal in moisture - it might work for you.

If the deep lines have formed, it is hard to remove it. You should try some retinol products. ROC is a good brand to try, cause it is less expensive and easy to get. One more thing, you cannot use retinol products if you are pregnant. |

Retin-A, vitamin C serum, a high PPD sunscreen (Euro or Asian forumla), AHA peels and a good moisturizer/hydrator are your best bets for overall anti-aging. Injectable fillers in the tear trough also make a big difference. |

Also get some really good sunglasses.
I have some polarized ones and pretty much have no eye wrikles yet and am in my late 30's (omg...already??).
I do have a bit of dark circles- but have had them most my life. Also large pores in my t-zone, can;t seem to cover them up too well unless I use tons of primer. |

I recommend you to use anti wrinkle botox treatment with very low complication from Call Lane Aesthetics. This treatment is really helpful for my struggling modeling career. |

Hello All,
some Tips....
1. Rest on your back ( Practice sleeping on your back. Sleeping on sides can lead to wrinkles on face. Resting on your back helps to align your spine and neck supporting it properly.)
2. Drink plenty of water(Drinking water in plenty helps to turn your skin into more elastic like. Your skin will be nourished thus preventing those wrinkles.)
3. Sunscreen Cream (You can stay exceptionally safe with the use of sunscreen cream)
4. Egg white mask (Egg white is a brilliant natural way that aides in expelling wrinkles from your skin. When you begin maturing, skin around your face and different parts of body continues drooping. This droopiness can fix with egg white mask. You have to apply egg white over your face with your fingertips and spread it fittingly. Keep this for 10 minutes and wash with luke warm water. ) |

When the wrinkles appear, they are there. The only thing we can do is how to prevent more. I don't use specific eye cream for my eyes, but I will massage under eye area everyday. |

Hi Molly90,
If you are still looking for any suggestion. I had the same problem with very sensitive skin. Someone recommended me Hollywood Gold 24kproducts. They are awesome on my skin. I bought them from baybeautybargains .com; this website has sale sometimes and their prices are more inexpensive than the original website. Their products are fresh and natural.
I hope it works! |

Homemade moisturizer:
Rather than going for exceptionally costly wrinkle skin cream available in the market, it is ideal to use home made common formulas.
Method:
Every one of the raw materials as specified above should be warmed up independently. Later pour one by one as indicated by your skin type and blend them. You may likewise utilize a whip to mix the blend extremely well. It is vital to put the proper essential oil as indicated by your skin tone at the time of whipping. You can see a velvety substance formed. Presently you should store this velvety substance into an icebox and afterward utilize ordinary like cream. Following a month you can see decrease of wrinkle over your skin layer. |
