While visiting my mom in Fla., I ran out of my Estee Lauder Re Nutriv eye cream so I figured Saks might carry it. While in the store, we passed a 60-ish woman with lovely skin selling the ReVive product line.
ReVive's claim to fame is the use of Epidermal Growth Factor in its products that supposedly helps skin to heal faster. The inventor, Dr. Max Hubbard, apparently worked with burn victims and developed this line of products in the course of his research.
The products are pricey ($ 150-180 for a good size jar)but they were offering a special since they had just started selling it at that location.
I purchased a special promotion pack of their day cream, Cellular Repair Sensitif with SPF 15, and night cream, Moisture Renewal Cream. Both have received nice reviews on MUA.
I have found my combination, breakout prone skin to fare very well with these 2 creams over the past couple of months, but I can honestly say I haven't seen any type of transformation or major change in my skin.
So, as lovely as the creams feel and despite the fact that the light citrus smell of the day cream is appealing, I don't expect to repurchase these. I haven't found anything extraordinary about them, and the price is too hefty (especially without a promotion!) to perceive them as a value.

I used to work for Revive, and Estee lauder. both great lines. I think that Revive is little stronger than estee lauder, the 2 products that you bought are top selling, with the night cream being the companys number one selling. We would always sell out. The products do take time to work.. at least one jar. give it time you'll see a difference. as you know the products are fragrance free, no coloring, no drying alcohol. if you have any questions please let me know. moisture renewal contains, 5% glycolic acid in a low PH of about 4, so it does exfoliate. and ofcourse it has EGF. the sensitif is great for all skin types, superb for healing cutes, redness, scares. really helps turn over thoses cells.... |
