Theresa May, do you still use cross stretching with good results?
Anyone else?
And do you follow the exact FE guidelines or do something different?
I'm a long time FE user, but have microneedled rather than cross-stretched. But especially in summer I don't want to hide indoors for a day so if cross stretching works, I'll try it. |

Yes I still do it.
In the beginning, myself and a few others on EDS just went head first into it without reading instructions, and having good results. We were doing it every day, but then I found out on the forum that wasn't recommended.
For me - it was cross stretching that got rid of my nls. I always thought I would have them and weren't really bothered by them, but my hubby noticed one morning and made a comment and I ran to the mirror to look and they were no where near as deep as they usually were.
It definitely worked for me. Plus I like how it feels and the flush it gives my skin too. |

Thanks Theresa May. That sounds great. Did you do horizontal one day the vertical the next? And did the NLs disappear when you were doing them daily? Or when you allowed the 2 days rest between stretches (ie more time to heal)?
I'd love some more details, if you don't mind |

Whilst happy to share these details – I must confess it goes against what they advise. Also I’m in my late 60s now and have done facial exercises for a long time (nearly 20 years now) and I have been doing the FE massage since 2004 so my face was quite strong to begin with.
Initially I did them the way you said, horizontal one day, vertical the next for a good few weeks. I think it was when I read workshop that Loli mentioned not doing it daily and that’s when I backed off a bit and my nl’s became noticeably smaller. For my hubby to mention it – it said major changes to me as he doesn’t usually make comments on these things (probably for his own good). Loli actually suggested that 2 days wasn’t sufficient and she advised someone to do 4 days instead and so I did horizontal then left 4 days and did vertical, left 4 days and horizontal etc and that’s when the changes happened for me. Guess its different strokes for different folks kind of thing!

Thank you so much, Theresa May, you're such a pioneer . I'll do it that way too (4 days between), as it makes sense to let the skin heal, just as when I microneedle.
Do you cross stretch whole face equally, or NLs only or stretch all but NL's more strongly?
I know what you mean about your husband only commenting on some big, positive change - mine is the same. |

I do whole face and neck - nls weren't a concern for me - Id figure I'd always have them and them going was a pleasant surprise and unexpected!

Fantastic. Have you noticed other improvements? |

Yes that is why I continue to do it. It gives my skin a great glow and I can feel the circulation improving each time I do it. Plus I think it thickens the skin too. Not that they say this but its just my take. Also I hasten to add but being that I had done facial exercises for 10 years prior - I think my face was likely to be a lot stronger than most folk just starting out.

Do you think the cross stretching would work for a crepey neck? Beginning's of turkey neck is freaking me out!
Thanks

Not cross stretching but their exercises will. You see they say it’s a skin remodeller – but if the neck is crepy then its not just about skin but whats caused the looseness underneath it and sagging. For that – you need to do exercises.
Just my take - I could be wrong!

I only did these a few times in my flex effect workouts but I should start doing the head one at least to see if it will help my hairloss issues. |
