I am running out of my Prescriptives liquid foundation...
I want to find a new liquid foundation that has good coverage but not cakey at the same time...
any recommendations? |

Giorgio Armani or Laura Mercier.

What about Kanebo? I really like the one called Cream Finish, but they also offer a liquid version, which is really liquid. Versace also has very good foundations. |

Good coverage and not cakey? Orlane and Lancaster are the first ones to come to mind for me..

what about (getting a lil' off topic here) minerals?

Well, I'm a new convert to minerals....having *always* used liquid foundationsin the past...But I was in a Sephora last week (my first time) so I thought, "I have to try this stuff" - so I tried the Bare Escentuals mineral veil and the multi-tasking minerals (which I used as a concealer)...I was completely astounded by the beatiful natural finish I got...and I didn't have to sacrifice coverage - I got extraordinary coverage - with what I can only describe as a very almost air-brushed finish....I was immediately sold. I would have bought everything I could get my hands on but they were sold out of almost everything! Thank goodness EDS has this stuff or I'd have to order from the States!

Yes, quite a few people here have used it. If you do a search for Liquid Minerals here then you should find quite a few relevant posts. JI Liquid Minerals is good (although I have now switched to the pressed powder version) but I wouldn't suggest it for very dry skins unless you moisturise well beforehand. |

I like Mirenesse Matte Liquid Silk foundation... it is light and dries matte ( but not chalky) and is in a nice pump pack that keeps it hygenic. It's coverage is quite good too. It's a bit like Armani's one of the similar name in texture, look and wear.
I have quite a few Mirenesse things on the go at the moment... I usually change all the time but right now I am really happy with what I have bought from them and think I will repurchase too! |

I like:
*clinique super balanced (great liqued/moderate coverage and oil free)
*Lancome colour ID ( light coverage, spf8, oil free)
Chanel Vitalumieres supposed to be really good if you don't mind foundation thats not oil-free (I use oil-free to help prevent and pinpoint cause of skin breakouts) |
