Confession: I am a redhead with super-pale fuzz, so facial hair has never really been an issue; however, I learned long ago that foundation goes on much nicer when one's face is baby-smooth (meaning free of down) and that in the right light everyone's peach fuzz shows and makes their makeup look obvious. SOOO....I did shave my entire face regularly. Obviously the Dermaflash is very tempting for that reason, but it's ridiculously expensive!!! I could have got one through a local promotional special for half the price recently, but failed to do so because the reviews haven't been favorable and it sounds as though it becomes costly to constantly replace blades. As a single mom, I can't waste a penny and am not interested in any product with expensive upkeep.
However, I'm wondering if I made a mistake not buying it super-cheap when I had the opportunity, as I have been wanting to replace the Clarisonic I lost in a traumatic move across the country & it seems like Dermaflash could substitute for it while creating that baby-smooth look simultaneously. Am I fooling myself? Are both devices "necessary?" Do any of you have the Dermaflash? What are your results? Is it expensive to maintain? Do you recommend it? TIA! |

Sounds cool, I too have peach fuzz and shave my face then I some razor burn on my sensitive skin and or some acne from a dull blade. Considering dermablading treatments but no one local does it so not convenient at all. |
