Hey kids,
I am a persian/puerto rican girl who has posy-inflammotory hyperpigmentation on my face-I was just wondering if anyone had used lactic acid peels or if anyone had used any product that had actually given them results.
Thank you,

I'm using the SkinCeuticals Phyto Plus right now. I will keep u posted on my results.
If u don't have sensitive skin, u might want to try some vit c serum (10% or 20%) to reduce the pigmentation.
BTW, there are several products & posts on hyperpigmentation in this forum. |

Hi, I used a 40% Lactic Acid peel from http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/
I am Italian and was worried about using other acids or stronger peels. I have used the lactic acid twice and truthfully, have not noticed a thing. I think I will keep using to see if there is a cumulative result. I think with any acid peel, you should be very cautious and follow the directions exactly and don't over do it. I'll post again if I begin to see results. Joani |

I have been using SkinCeuticals Phyto Plus for a year. I can see that my hyperpigmentation is better, but it is still there. SkinCeuticals Phyto Plus does not work right away for me. I suppose it takes time to reverse the hyperpigmentation.

I've also used a 40% lactic acid peel and find that it helps remove residuals from the skin and allows hyperpigmentation creams to penetrate for better results. Alone it won't solve your problems - but used with a good regimen - it will speed up the process. |

I've used the 30% glycolic peel fromwww.makeupartistschoice. com and after 3 times of using it I can tell a difference in my skin tone. It is more even in color. But you do have to be very careful using it and follow the directions carefully or you can burn your skin. If I had it to do over I would have started with the lactic acid peel and then progressed to the glycolic one. |
